The first thing to know is that the strap is not adjustable so it makes the slide feel narrow. I like my slides to fit a little loose. I ordered my usual size and they weren't the way I like them to fit. Once I ordered a size up I was very happy. They are comfortable right out of the box and look great.
Of course Zappos customer service was amazing while helping with the exchange.

These were very comfortable right out of the box, they didn't need to be broken in or anything. I find that I have been wearing these around the house instead of my slippers, thats how comfortable they are. Would definitely purchase again.

I really wanted to like these. They look cool and are light but the strap is too tight and foot bed may be a bit narrow. They pretty much hurt to wear, thought they would break in but not the case so far.

I really wanted to like and use these daily around the house and when I travel. I got my try size and length wise they are fine. It's the strap is too tight on the front of my foot. I would recommend if you have some slim feet.

Good slides for around the house, especially after a run, but also fine for the beach or in the yard. My wife likes how they look and they seem well made and sturdy.
I bought my usual running shoe size (12) which turned out a little large.
I bought a second set in a size 11 for our beach house which fit fine. You might want to size down by 1/2 size or round down if you're a half size.
