Thank goodness for New Balance and their selection of wide sizes in athletic shoes. I have worn their running shoes for years, though they have discontinued the older style I had. So this is my first time trying the 1260. I haven't had them for long but they fit well out of the box for my wide feet with high arches and bunions and have room for my custom orthotics. They are good looking too.

This is a great shoe. It has nice arch support but not too. It also has a good amount of cushion. The fact that it comes in wide, is a huge positive for me. I have chronic, undiagnosed pain in both feet and these shoes are the first that I can wear for long periods of time. Congratulations New Balance! Great product!

As a career runner, I've been wearing a variety of versions of New Balance for years. This particular pair is the best I have owned, so much so that I ordered a second pair shortly after I received and ran in the first pair! You will not be disappointed.

These shoes are the most supportive and help my Plantar Fasciitis immensely. Originally bought at the New Balance store. This is my second pair.

I bought my first pair of these 3 years ago when I was having arch problems and have continued to purchase them. I pronate and these really give me good support. The most recent pair have brought me several compliments on the style. They give pretty good arch support but I generally take theirs out and put a Spenco arch in for even more support. If anything, the most recent update is even more comfortable.

This isn't the first pair of 1260's that I've brought and probably won't be the last. I have extremely flat feet, no archive what size ever and this sneakers is just perfect for my foot. My only complaint/concern would be a little padding in the sneakers

Great fitting shoes! Great stability shoe. I've had both knees replaced and have arthritis is my back. These shoes were comfortable and could wear for extended periods right out of the box. Have a roomy toebox (but doesn't look wide)and were very comfortable even after I added my orthotics. Very cool color too!

I called New Balance to find out what shoes they recommended for my specific problems. Bad back, tendency toward plantar fasciitis, and a bad knee. The first couple of hours I felt a bit awkward in them. However, after wearing them all day my entire body feels better. Previously I was wearing NB Vazee Prism and they were good but these are even better. I'll be ordering another pair!

I originally ordered a W860 v7 at my local store but they felt too small compared with the past three versions of the same shoe. I ordered the same size (6.5 wide) in the 1260 from Zappos and they felt great. I can't explain why the toe box seemed too short on the W860 compared to the 1260 but when I measured them with a tape measure there was about a 3/8" difference. The 1260 are blue whereas my old W860's were purple. Unfortunately those of us who need wide shoes don't get a lot of choices in colors so I'll have to learn to love blue. I am also considering the Brooks Ghost9 in size 7 wide (1/2 size larger than the New Balance). They seemed to fit too although I don't think the Ghost9 is considered a stability shoe.

I really love these shoes. They are good for over pronators like me and I have narrow feet so their availability in a narrow width was important. Comfort, support, and unique eye-catching style make them a winner. I wish for more choices in narrow widths for over pronators like me. Of course, the excellent service I received from Zappos Team Member Customer Service was amazing. I am a long time customer, and Zappos earns my continued loyalty. Bravo!

These shoes proved to be even better than expected. After first putting them on I could tell they were keepers! Very comfortable, good support and cushion too!! I wore these to work (8hr shift) and my feet were cushioned and comfortable all day. I then wore them the same week for 14 hours straight and had no pain at all at the end of the day! I was truly impressed. I also purchased these shoes because I over pronate. These shoes have very good support for overpronaters. The shoes did not need any break in period for me. I am currently using the shoes inserts instead of my own, which also provide cushion. I hope that New Balance keeps making this style for future purchases! The shoes are worth the price!

Buying running shoes is always a struggle for me as they seem change my favorites from year to year. I can tell you I will be ordering a second pair of these right away! I love the amount of cushion in this shoe and they are cute too!

I've only worn these shoes a few times so I'm not 100% sure about them yet but so far they seem very comfortable. I got a WIDE because sneakers run very narrow these days - especially if you want to use your own orthotic. They seem to have a neutral arch which is good for people using their own orthotic.

Oh my goodness I love these shoes. I have not been buying cute shoes because I assume I can not wear them with my W feet that have so many problems. I wore these playing tennis today for the first time and I just love them. They are so comfortable yet light and snappy too!

Of all the runningshoes I've seen made for overpronators, this is one of the most built-up on the medial heel. I have really flat feet, so this would have been great! But ho' I take a 7.5 narrow in N.B.'s style 940v2, this 1260v6 is a half size too long.

I plan to write a follow up review after I get these from zappos. I ordered from new balance website hot off the press. Initial response: typically I wear a 7 REGULAR in NB. For reference I wear 71/2 WIDE in Asics gel nimbus. Initially got 71/2 W in this NB based on NB customer service. I'm returning them. A 7 W will be perfect. My toes are short and I'm between a reg and wide. Seven wide for these for me. QUALITY MATERIALS! Not a lot of arch support but I can feel the support for pronation and will add my moderate orthotic. Plenty of room. Very nice looking shoe. I'm hopeful for its performance. Seems worth the money

shoes are really pretty but are a little tight for my normal size of 9B. also a big problem is that the laces are way too short

I usually get a 8.5 in running shoes to accommodate my foot width but when I ordered an 8.5 medium width it was too big! I ended up with a 8 (I usually wear a 7.5-8) medium which bordered on still being a bit too large. It was the first time I had enjoyed a wide enough toe box. The shoes is a bit heavier then others I have worn. Overall though I am pleased with the comfort.

I did not realize these are for trail running, which means the soles have sort of a sharp texture that i don't need on a treadmill. Will be returning.

Starts out a little stiff, but a few days in this shoe is quite comfy. Structurally excellent, good and proper support for a wide, high-volume foot. After putting on some miles, I bought a second pair for everyday wear. A big investment for me, but the dogs are grateful.

I recently bought these 1260 v6 and only wore them around the house to make sure that they are comfy. They are fine in the house but outside they simply do not have as much cushioning as the 1260 v4 that I owned before. I will keep them but I wish they had more "umph".
