The reason for the 3 star rating in spite of the 5 star comfort rating is on account of the elastic bands. The shoe is constructed very well for a low-volume foot, but the straps would only keep a high volume foot in the shoe, and I’m not sure if a bulky foot would feel comfortable with the narrow-to-medium width footbed. So, it’s a great shoe for a rare foot type: narrow across the vertical and bulky in the vertical plane from top to bottom.

These are a little loose on the heel, but well worth it to me. My feet are pretty deformed from bunions so I have a very hard time finding cute, comfortable shoes. They seem very comfortable where I need it most - the bunion area. I plan to use a black heel pad to give my heel a little more cushion and a bit tighter fit. Look, ladies, I ordered 7 pairs of shoes at the same time from Zappos in order to find something pretty that I could wear a long time. I am so happy to have found these shoes and I plan to wear them to a day-long event.

I liked this shoe so much I ordered it in another color. I often have problems with a bad ankle. This shoe gives me enough support I can wear it all day. It is very attractive, good workmanship and materials. I'll buy Earth again.

This shoe is super cute and comfortable traveling to and from work and wearing them all day. I wouldn’t say it’s a good walking shoe but for every day walking they’re great. I have a wider foot and these fit perfect. They could use a little more cushion but overall I love them.

This is a very attractive sandal, easy to slip on and easy to wear. I was surprised how large it was versus a typical size 10. I believe I ended up going down a full size. I can't remember when I wore a 9, and often, in a walking shoe with a toe (not this type) I go up to an 11 to get plenty of toe room. I have a long but narrow foot. The elastics are attractive and keep the sandals in place. Overall, I like this shoe a lot, but give it a 4 because I had to return and reorder.

this shoe feels great but runs larger than average, rare for me to ever find a shoe that is wider than normal.

Pretty comfortable for a slightly dressier looking shoe, but just not flattering on my foot somehow.

Elastic is not firm enough to hold my feet in place even though the size is perfect and there is no excess space to slip around inside of the shoe. Also the padding on the metatarsal area is a bit skimpy. So I think that they are likely good and comfortable shoes which help to minimize the appearance of your feet: if you have somewhat bulky feet. If you have super thin feet on top and bottom, then they these don’t quite have enough structure or padding to make the cut.

I give the style of this shoe a higher rating than the overall comfort. It's cute, can be worn casual or a little more dressy. The shoe really needs padding, especially at the ball of foot. If it had that then I think it would be more worth the price. I have a wide foot and found the shoe only comfortable for a short period of time. I traveled to Europe recently and after a lot of walking on my first day my feet had swelling, then the elastic bands were uncomfortable. This resulted me in not wearing the shoe the rest of the trip and not likely to wear it again.
