The manufacturer recommends treating this shoe with a waterproofing spray with nano particles. Nano particles are so tiny that they penetrate skin and the blood brain barrier. They are being found in marine life, marine plants and human brains at autopsy. This is a very costly canvas sneaker coated with a dangerous chemical treatment that will wash away when it gets wet, and it's a shoe that you might be wearing in the rain or water. People who care about their feet, their health or the planet are not going to want their feet in these shoes.

I’m loving my first barefoot shoes. My only complaint is that the pull tab is quite small which makes them a little difficult to get on. Beyond that I’m super happy with them and the included footbed really does keep my feet warm.
