I have been buying these shoes for my kids for the last few years and have been very happy with them. My kids are very rough on shoes and these hold up well to their abuse and they typically outgrow before needing to be replaced. The speed laces also help allow them to put them on by themselves.
In addition we do a lot of hiking and the tread pattern provides tons of grip.

We live in a rural area and the roads we are able to walk on are all gravel. I've worn Salomon Speedcross for years, so I bought some for my kiddo after a few slides down the hills. She absolutely loves the fact that she doesn't slip anymore and is able to keep her footing. These shoes are the only ones I buy and wear for running and walking. Buy them. They're amazing.

I have bought them for a small hike out of country because of how light they were. Gets the job done and comfort all around so much that I even lifted in them. Only thing is that Im not sure if I would take these for an advance hike.

With odd sized feet, it's hard to find a shoe that gives support and comfort. I have found both in this Salomon Speedcross shoe. The toe box gives me enough room without being too loose.

These are my sons everyday shoe. He loves them and puts them to the test. He says that these ones feel lighter than previous models. Also he likes the improved colors.

Lasted less than 3 months, fabric by toes split apart on both left and right shoes. Compared to other brands, Salomon is lacking durability even when considering they are kids shoes. Also, beware of their "warranty" as the customer service is quite unhelpful even after submitting photos and a valid receipt. Salomon does not stand behind their products any longer, which is unfortunate.

Ho comprato quest'articolo qualche settimana fa e sono davvero soffisfatta. Scarpa comodissima e multitasking per camminare sullo sterrato o per strada, e per lunghe passeggiate in montagna.

Super Trail-Laufschuh mit ausgezeichnetem Profil, sehr guter Passform, SALOMON-Schn?rsystem f?r Kinder nat?rlich auch ein Hit (= einfach). Relativ hoher Preis angesichts der Tatsache, dass der Schuh wohl meist (Kindes-Wachstums-bedingt) nur eine Saison getragen wird. Zu beanstanden ist, dass sich der Schuh rasch abnutzt, da die Kinder damit ja nicht nur laufen und gehen, sondern eben auch Fu?ball-Spielen usw. So ist bei einem Schuh sogar das Verschluss-"T?schchen" aufgerissen, wodurch der Verschluss nicht mehr gesch?tzt war und alsbald gerissen ist. Alles in allem aber ein super, typischer Salomon-Trailschuh!

My son who is 12 said these would be a great fit but the toe box is too tight and squishes his toes. He has a very slightly wide foot. We are going to return them and try out the men's version because he is now a kid's size 6 or 7. I think it might be a problem that these are cut unisex in the larger sizes because boys have wider feet in general than girls. I was sorry they didn't fit right because I have these in the women's version and they are great for hiking. I was hopeful that these would be "the shoe" that doesn't wear out in 3 months for him. Too bad, he said otherwise they are very comfortable.

We bough two pairs of these for our outdoor 8 year olds. They have been wearing them for 4 months. The soles look great (way better than other sneakers), but we have already had 3 quick lace replacements during this time period, which is a real disappointment. The uppers are also not faring as well as we would have expected, given the cost.

Great shoes and my daughter loves them. The outsole grip is great and gives you great confidence. The only reason I gave it 3 starts is the the Quicklace system was broken on one shoe when we received them. My daughter is unable to wear the shoes on her own without an adult coming in and really pulling hard on on the laces. Otherwise, I would give these shoes 5 stars. Also, Salomon really needs to develop the App instead of having to rely on the website which has glitches when accessing from mobile devices.

Very slippery,when wakking on tile floors or nenolium floors or wooden floors ,wet grass.not recommended. Hard to slip your foot into shoes .does not have a lose grip to slide yoor foot in..

Fabric on upper toe section wore through where the shoe bends while walking on both shoes. Other brands have been more durable even with this being a kids shoe. Lasted less than 3 months. Also the sole wears out quickly with the lug design so that it was like a slick dress shoe under the forefoot.
