These are awesome for my 6 year old son. This is his second pair of speed cross Salomon. He wears these to school everyday and they hold up great and are lighter than you think. Some of the other kids Salomon shoes are clunky and boxing. These are fast!

I have bought them for a small hike out of country because of how light they were. Gets the job done and comfort all around so much that I even lifted in them. Only thing is that I'm not sure if I would take these for an advance hike.

I went through 3 sneakers within 3 months for my daughter whom is a very active 8 year old. The only sneakers that held up to her funning around were Solomon and lasted a much longer than 1 month.

These shoes are amazing for my active son. They have excellent support, particularly in the arch, and the tread is superior for gripping in wet grass. My only comment is that they run about a half size smaller than expected and only come in full sizes, so when in doubt order up. Sadly this very attractive red/coral combo wasn’t available in the next size up, so we settled for the green/black combo and weren’t disappointed. Very hip styling to this line!

My 6 year old is a speed demon. Lots of tumbles and spills, he doesn’t care. These are the first shoes that keep him upright and unscathed, GREAT traction and grip. He can put them on himself, thank the lord. He loves that they’re just like his dad’s, too! I will absolutely be buying him another pair of Salomons when he outgrows these, even if it’s (probably) thirty seconds from now.
And thank you SO MUCH to the phenomenal customer service rep who helped me sort out accidentally sending these to our old address in Germany/APO. I cannot thank you enough.

These are really great shoes. My son's shoes keep wearing out or just falling apart. These are built very well. Unlike many shoes today that have mostly foam soles, the soles on the Speedcross are fully covered in durable rubber material with an aggressive tread pattern. Although my son can tie a knot, the quick lace system is handy and saves time.

My 10 years son is totally in love with his shoes. We bought them for our hikes and adventures on the mountains but he just wears them at all time now even in the city because they are so confortable.

Bought for my nephews 9th birthday. He literally doesn't take them off now. His little brother is 8 soon and wants a pair too. So I will be back nearer the time to get another pair

After my kids tore up other shoe brands we took a gamble spending a little more on Salomons. As parents we couldn't be happier with the longevity of the wear on these shoes. Both kids outgrow the shoes instead of the shoes falling apart! They use them for every day kicks to big outdoor adventures. They preformed higher than expected!

My grandson loves these. He’s had 4 pairs as I reorder when he outgrows them. Only had an issue once with the draw cord breaking after a couple of months and Zappos was great to take them back and send him a new pair immediately and told me to send the broken ones back in the box the new ones came in.

With odd sized feet, it's hard to find a shoe that gives support and comfort. I have found both in this Salomon Speedcross shoe. The toe box gives me enough room without being too loose.
