I don’t recommend steel-toe boots for long working hours with constant movement. My first shift wearing these my feet were in quite a bit if pain.

I purchased these work boots thinking they would have the normal Skechers comfort right from the start. Boy was I wrong. I'm estimating it will take a few months to break them in properly, and I don't dare wear them on consecutive days for fear of blisters. I guess you need to pay more than $100 to get the great Skechers fit and comfort.

Originally, purchased through the Amazon safety toe shoe program. This boot/shoe felt awkward in a warehouse setting and never wore it outside of work. The next following year, I choose the Caterpillar Argon composite toe shoe for two years in a row. This shoe was perfect. Find the review: 4.12.24. After leaving the warehouse, I started to wear this Skechers boot for a foundry position as a replacement to the Caterpillar Argon shoe. The Skechers boot is on its way out. I started wearing it at the beginning of the 2024 year and it has lost its overall exterior shape. The stitching is beginning to fray and the so-called leather is separating. I do not recommend this boot for heavy, heat induced work. A positive remark; surprisingly concrete construction with the sole/tread is holding up and the insoles are comfortable. However, I will go back to the Caterpillar Argon composite toe shoe while trashing the Skechers but will keep the air cushion removal insoles.

If you're in a war, these are great shoes to fight in. With these shoes you can neutralize the enemy without your weapon :) They are really durable, but if you are thinking of wearing these for a job where you will be on your feet all day (like Amazon), think twice. Because these are some of the most uncomfortable shoes you can wear. At the end of the first day, I could not stand on my feet.

Way to bulky so foot was sliding even with shoe laces tight and it was heavy, felt like 6.3-7lbs weight and it was a half size to small.

Third pair I've purchased. I wore them both regularly, primarily as a mechanic. Tread always did decent on slicks, toe held up to the abuse. Each lasted around 12 months til any problematic breakdown happened (which is decent to me at the price point, considering pairs 2-3x more expensive only manage to last 2-3x as long). Latest pair had a lining breakdown in the ankle within the first week. Midway through a 12hr workday, the edge of the plastic form ate through my sock and was working my skin down. Had to wear other shoes for a few days to heal. Haven't put these through a full day since.

I am unable to wear these boots as they rub very hard on my left ankle. My ankle was reconstructed 30yrs ago and these boots seem to really rub hard on it.

They are VERY firm, no flex or room to move. Not sure if there is room for inserts to make it more comfortable.
