I bought this for my five year old, and it fits well and is comfortable. However, after a week or so of wear, the bottom sole is already separating from the shoe. I'm not sure if it's a shelf life issue (old shoe for sale) but this seems like a really unacceptable quality issue. He's in school and this is mostly walking wear and tear over the course of a week or so. This was my first time ordering from Zappos (also ordered 2 pairs of sneakers for myself), because of what I heard about great quality / customer service, but I don't see any information on the website about how to address these issues. I see that returns have to be unworn merchandise in original packaging, which doesn't help me with shoes that start to fall apart after being worn 10 days.

These came apart after a month. Sole peeling away from shoe on bottom, both shoes, front and back. They're cute but I'm super disappointed that this back to school purchase didn't even make it to Oct. BOO!
