I was looking for a slightly wider shoe than my toddlers See Kai Run and of the wide shoes, this and the Saucony Jazz were narrowest. It is shaped straight not wider at the toe box as recommended by our podiatrist.

Like the other reviewers said, the size "Wide" is actually more like a normal size in other shoes! So I got that wide version for my son. His feet arent particularly wide, just normal. He LOVES them, hes almost 2. The sizing is accurate, hes 7.5 in See Kai Run and other brands, and 7.5 (Wide) in this as well. He always picks these shoes out as the preferred shoe to wear now, I believe bec they're comfy. I bought myself a matching pair! Also like the other reviews said, the velcro doesn't reach all the way to the end when you close them. But it still velcroes shut easily, and looks good. See pic.

Perfect shoe for our 2.5 yr old’s chubby feet. these are so sturdy and NB always has great soles!

These were for my grandson. I could not find a 7 1/2 anywhere in the stores. A 7 is too small and size 8 is too bid. He has a wide foot and a high arch. these were perfect. I wanted a good shoe, but not one that I was going to pay an arm an leg for. He is only 3 and will most likely grow out of them before they get broken in good. New Balance is a shoe I like and he does to now.

MY son has tall and wide feet. These fit great and have lasted for several months, which for a 2.5 year old is really good!

Great little shoes. Easy for my little guy to put on himself. We typically steer clear of Velcro as it gets so junky and the tabs end up curling but hoping for a better result with this style as the Velcro is U shaped.

The only shoes my son will wear!! This is our 5th pair we’ve bought!!

We have a 14 month at home and her feet are so tiny. She loves shoes, but every pair we tried were too big. These shoes are absolutely perfect for her. She refuses to take off her shoes now. She even goes so far as to try and sneak into bed with them on.

True to size and very durable material for little kids. Cutest shoes ever!

My son can get this shoe on and off pretty easily. I have no idea I’d the size and/or width is true but they fit well. Maybe slightly more narrow than another pair of newbies he has that are also wide, but maybe it’s the style. They feel like nice high quality shoes.

These are for my 3 year old. A little stiff at first, but broke right in after a couple of days. Very cute and easy to get on and off.
