I'm returning these shoes. Very nice-looking but too narrow even though they are Wide. The length was fine but they were too snug for anything but a dress sock. Other NB shoes the same size fit just fine. Kismet.

Traditional NB fit with the roomy toe box and snug heel (awesome), but they have taken this shoe from being very cushiony, as in the older version I ran hundreds of miles in, to feeling like the sole is unforgiving with minimal forefoot shock absorption. Had to return, as I must have serious forefoot cushioning in order to actually run in a shoe without joint issues. Very disappointing.

My heel slipped up and down when walking which ended up causing me some foot pain. But if you don't have that issue, these would be really great shoes.

Only returned because I knew they were too flimsy to provide the support I need. I ended up with metatarsalgia from sneakers that bend too easily and doing Insanity type workouts - sent these right back because I knew it wasn't enough support. They were comfortable and felt great but it was the lack of support that was my issue. Fear of re-occurance of pain

The top over the toe bed is stiff and makes a popping sound and flicking motion against the top of my toes. The toe bed feels very wide and actually, slightly longer then other NB shoes. I usually order one half size up and a wide but if I liked these shoes and were going to keep them, I would need a regular width, not a wide. Feel very bulky.

Love the color and style. I had to order them even though I read that it runs small. I always wear a 10.5 and D width. 10.5 is slightly large on me but my feet need it. I am most comfortable with a 10.5. These shoes were at least a whole size smaller. The width was slightly narrower than any other shoes I've had from NB. THEY RUN A WHOLE SIZE SMALLER & a half narrower. I had to send them back.

You get what you pay for. This shoe is a lightweight in all departments. I walked about 30 minutes and my feet were killing me! I couldn't even use these shoes to run errands around town. Save your money.

Ordered these shoes to replace my very worn 680v3 pair. What a disappointment! Poor forefoot cushioning, poor stability control, and these are both critical for me in any running shoe. No arch support in the insole, but don't care about that as I always use my own insoles with proper arch support. Anyway, just walking in my living room these felt less supportive, less cushioned, and MUCH less stable than my old v3 pair that have logged hundreds of miles. Really let down by New Balance here, and sad that I'm going to have to look at other brands, as my feet are hard to fit and New Balance at least has shoes with an overall shape that works for me. Boo! This v5 pair is going straight back.

I do not know why a company wants to change a shoe that is comfortable. I bought 2 pair of these last year because of the toe box. Now, however, NB has decided to start to narrow the toe box. UGH

I have worn New Balance for years. This shoe has something right down the center that digs into my feet.

Shoes fit but were uncomfortable and stiff. I would not recommend for running.

My foot felt tilted as if the heel was much higher than the front. Lt blue color made the shoe look super wide in the front. Need to order a half size up in these.
