I just opened these and at first glance I like the look of the shoe, but the fit is all wrong. They feel short in length and wide throughout the entire foot. Going back:(

I chose this shoe in thunder/seafoam and it's a great color. But the shoe is too short in the toe box. The width is comfortable for my flat feet but the shoe lacks any support beyond the sole. I need some support in the body of the shoe as well as having a good sole. The shoe is light and easy and if you have a foot that's strong and needs little support this might work very well for you. Very cute shoe.

I really wanted to like these shoes but they're being returned. The back of the shoe came up very high on my heel which felt uncomfortable after about 10 minutes. I have average width feet (not too wide, not too narrow) and these shoes felt very boxy. The toe area was very roomy, so much so that I didn't feel supported. The shoes are very light weight which I liked but unless you have very wide feet, these will probably feel like boats to you.

I ordered a 5.5 which is my usual size and it fit true to size. I removed the insoles and put in my orthotics. With the original insoles in, I didn't feel much arch support. I I found the material to be rough and didn't like how it was rubbing my pinky toe. Although it was a B width, it was slightly wider than my other shoes so maybe it was rubbing for that reason. They are cute but I'm returning them.

Wasn't impressed by this shoe, kind of boxy looking. Didn't fit like my typical size, was too short. Sending back

I have tried several pairs of these on in different sizes and widths. My ankles feel like they roll in with this particular style.

These are cheap shoes, No cushion, no support. Maybe they would be ok for light gym work, but not for actual running.

As another reviewer stated: Recently New Balance wide does not fit as they used to. This shoe is no exception for it was far smaller than the 7.5 D I have become accustomed to for 20-30 years. These are from Vietnam and perhaps they have a different last? Anyway, I had to return them and not sure if I will order the same shoe in a half-size larger? I'm listening to the reviewer who said the next size up, was too large. Might try something different, entirely.

Tight across front, very uncomfortable.

I wear an 8.5 D, and ordered a 9 D after reading reviews. These are going back. I wish New Balance would please go back to offering the SL-2 platform shoe for women; wide toe box, great mid-region and arch support with Azorb, and narrow heal even on a wide shoe. I ordered the men’s shoe which is close to this style which included SL-2 platform, and it had excellent arch support and a wide toe box.

I always wear New Balance, either 5.5W or 6W (and so glad they make wides in the small size!). I ordered this shoe in both, expecting to return one. Both were far too small.

I’ve worn a lot of New Balance but never in my life have I have such an uncomfortable shoe. The size is fine. It’s the sole itselfs. I’m returning these for sure.
