The Shoe I had received had a manufacturing defect, I have not expected this with the Company people.
The right shoe is little tight.
For Running the comfort is good.

These shoes have no tongue. They just have the elastic fabric that encircles the ankle. I ordered these in wide, but still, my 12 year old son with a high instep could hardly get them on his foot. Unfortunately we did get them on and he wore them one day, but wouldn’t wear them again because they were too hard to get on. I ended up just cutting the lining so he can get his foot in the shoe and I didn’t waste over $100.

One design flaw ruined it for me; in the toe area it is very uncomfortable on the toes when at rest and when walking. These shoes had promise but the one flaw is between the harder darker grey material and the flexible light grey flex fabric. Basically when you walk your toes catch between the seam of these two materials and get stuck, popping your toes at each step. Very disappointed and returning.

I was looking forward to receiving and running in my new trail shoe. I have run in several pairs of NB road shoes so I ordered the same size and width. The fit was much more narrow or perhaps the materials on the toe guard etc just made the toe box very narrow and tight. Their seemed to be enough room in the shoe to go out for a run so I laced up, got in my car and headed for the trail. That is as far as I got however as my big toes were completely numb when I got there. I didn't want to risk not being able to return the shoe, so I never ran in them. The upper material is made from a rubbery material. I supposed this is to prevent tearing but it also caused my feet to heat up and sweat, even though I was only driving. I could not tell from the photo and maybe I didn't read enough about the shoe. I am used to mesh uppers. When walking, I felt like I was in a pair of crocs with no ventilation. The cushion was great, but the flexibility of the shoe was less than desirable.

The tag on tongue is peeling off, and major heel rubbing. I usually wear no show socks, which would give you blisters if you wear them with these. For being a pricier model, these are my least favorite NB shoes I’ve had in years. As much as I love the look of them, definitely a dud.

The design of the shoe was not good for me. The stretch ability of the fabric ankle collar made it extremely difficult to insert my foot. The tongue design with fabric gussets would have been much more accommodating. That's why I returned the shoes.

Shoes fit true to size and offer adequate traction. They provide the same feel under foot as the other models fitted with fresh foam, but the upper just doesn't cut it. Doesn't hug my foot as much as I would like and has caused some unwanted blistering on the long runs. Tongue came unglued from sock liner almost immediately as well.

there is no traditional "tongue" in this shoe, it's like a one-piece sock/slipper thingy...
was very difficult even getting my foot in and felt very narrow/small (totally uncomfortable)
I was really bummed since I liked the styling, they just felt so differently from my other NBs
