Wish I had bought these the week before I dropped a cylinder of cut red oak tree on my big toe. Wow, that hurt. I ordered these steel toe shoes that afternoon, and will not be cutting wood again without them. I was surprised that these were basically slip-on shoes despite the shoelaces, but they fit and hold great and look like nice walking shoes instead of heavywork boots. I do feel that my feet are protected now.

Very comfortable and love the styling. I normally wear size 12 and ordered these in size 12 - there's plenty of room, they're definitely not undersized but I'm glad I didn't order them in 11.5.

I got these because I had busted a toe a week earlier and couldn't afford to drop anything else on my foot. These are SO comfortable!! I love them. Like most have said, they seem to run a bit large, but that is good because I typically am a "small" size 16 and they aren't available that size, so to me they fit AWESOME!! I wore them 3 days straight for 10-12 hours a day on a job and my feet felt great. Plus no worries about dropping anything on my already injured toe. The only drawback is that the rest of the shoe is so light they are quite a bit front heavy because of the toe protection. I noticed a couple times that as you get lazy, it's easy to drag your toes a bit as your feet get tired. As far as durability, we will see. It's a bit early to judge. Oh... one other item. The laces are kind of a "slippery" material and a bit long out of the box. May swap them out. Overall very pleased!!!

Actually had to go a full size smaller (8 - normally wear 9). Originally ordered an 8.5 (the size of my other steel toes) but turned out they were too big; too much room left for toes and my heel was slightly slipping out. Exchanged for an 8 and they are perfect.

I received an email from Zappos that asked "How was the fit?". I know this is probably going to be the cheesiest answer ever but.... I would have to say my new shoes fit like a glove. (groan) Thank you. Thank you. Remember to tip the wait staff.

These shoes are good fit and look good. I’m on my feet all day at work and they seem lighter than my old work shoes. I can walk around the warehouse with no problems. I only have 1 problem is that the laces are too long I had to lace around the loops to cut the slack.

It is a little tighter. Material is fine and beautiful. It looks awesome but needs some room in the front.

My son purchased these shoes because he was working on a construction site for several weeks. He didn’t want clunky boots, so went with work shoes with toe protection. These looked great when they arrived, however they were a full size too large. He is reliably a size 9 in men’s shoes add had to return these for an 8 — which Zappos fortunately makes easy to do. So far he says they are comfortable & no blisters.

Not very comfortable. Had to put an insole in. However, they lasted a lot longer than my last pair of work boots, so they are durable. Still going!

These shoes are very hard on the sole and have caused me great pain due to plantar faciitis, they do not have arch support.

Bought one size too big as reviews were very wishy washy, best thing to go by is whatever you wear for everyday shoes go with that size do not try and get size up or down.

Runs very big. Felt a whole size larger. Had to return for a smaller size.
