Nice looking skate shoes! You can tell they've been made to last for a long time. You do have to break them in since the shoes are a little stiff, but after a month I would say they will feel comfortable.

I get most people do not like the long tongue but it's designed to cut it to make it shorter.

If you skate, and enjoy the best of both worlds of comfort and being able to feel your board securely gripped by your feet. Then this is the one you're looking for. While I absolutely love the style and look of these thin soled, somewhat love profile skateboarding shoes. Sometime I've found that the comfort is the first thing to go. And while you've got great traction and a good looking pair of kicks, you absolutely sacrifice comfort and end up with your feet hurting due to the lack of cushioning, poor structual
