Very thin. Like a plastic rain poncho. It is not going to make any difference in spring/fall.

Columbia should make it clear that this is more of technical jacket..like a biking jacket. It's very, very thin. If weight is an issue, like in biking, this is that kind of jacket. But for an everyday rain jacket, no. It has no pocket closures, no waist elastic or tightner and no hood adustment. It is bare bones. There is also no liner whatsever so no warmth. If you go hiking, it may be good as a layer. But it is also so thin, you may rip it very easily. Very disaapointed.
