Perfect carry on. It looks like it will fit nicely under the seat and is roomy enough for whatever you may want to carry on. I like the fact that you can carry it with the handles or use it as a backpack. I got the blue and it’s very pretty. I can fit my smaller handbag, iPad, Bose headphones and a few snacks. I think I finally found a decent bag for my carryon.

This bag is big enough to carry drinks, snacks, makeup etc because it has many useful pockets. I love the style, material and color. Great purchase

I love this Kipling Alvy Backpack. It is so versatile, can be used as a comfortable backpack or just used as a well organized tote bag. It works perfectly for me because I do not always want a backpack, so I can unhook the the straps and have a great tote bag or shoulder bag. I have had Kipling bags in the past and have always been very satisfied with their products, well made and last forever : )

I really like this bag upon arrival. I haven't used it yet. I ordered is earthy beige. I ordered several bags and kept this one and a briefcase type thing, or at least I thought I kept these. I accidentally sent the wrong box of two back and didn't realize it for a couple of days! I called Zappos and with their excellent customer service, they were able to get my box returned to me without having to reenter into their system - because this was the last one they had in this color! YAY ZAPPOS! I like that it converts easily from backpack to crossbody so easily. I know I will get a lot of use from this cool bag!

This bag would have been perfect if only it had water bottle pockets on the side! A little cushioning on the shoulder straps would have sealed the deal for me. If these two things are changed, it is the perfect bag for a carry on or going on and about with the kids!

It is an amazing bag. I wish it had water bottle pockets! I didn’t check before I bought it. It has a place for everything!! Just not the water bottles. I hope they come out with a newer version of this with bottle bags.

There are two major drawbacks of this bag. The first is that because of the material and light color of the straps, they look dirty all of the time. The second is that the top zips instead of having a flap. May not seem like a big deal, but people were always telling me it was unzipped and to be careful. The pockets are awesome, but I had to quit using it because of the design flaws.
