This coat has been awesome. I've layered it for hiking in the snow, cross country skiing and winter running. The stretch is awesome and doesn't crinkle, pinch or make noise. If I get too warm (holds in heat well) it's pliable and light enough to tie around my waist or fold into my hip pack. I usually wear a small but tried both and kept the medium as it was just a little tight in my arms and shoulders and I wouldn't have been comfortable layering. The stretch could accommodate but I wanted a little more room. Much happier with this coat than I thought I would be. My mother in law got it too and also went one size up.

Light weight. I get compliments on it. The gray is modern and stylish.

I can wear it and not feel over dressed and fit very comfortably with my clothes on underneath

I think it's runs small, I'd get a size up. Great to block wind/water, or for outer layer. Stylish fit, and everything can be adjusted for weather extremes!

Love how soft and breathable this jacket is despite it being waterproof!

This is great for that fall/spring running weather! It's very comfortable and keeps you dry in the misty and sprinkly weather. I have not tried it out in a downpour!

I have used this jacket while kayaking in open water and it kept me completely dry. My partner was envious since they were completely soaked by the end. Very good jacket!

I do boot camp style workouts outside and this keeps me warm when it's 28 degrees and raining.

Love this jacket. Lightweight - folds easily. Waterproof. Relatively flattering. I wear this to bike into work in the early morning in Hawaii. Nice and bright for protection from cars. A little windbreaker action with minimal insulation. Perfect for me

Love how stretchy it is!! It really moves with you and is so lightweight you don't know you are wearing it.

This is great for walking in the rain, it keeps me dry and when I get home it dries quickly and it also washes up and dries nicely

Perfect for layering. It fits well over a fleece but wads up small enough when you start peeling off layers that it isn't in the bulky or in the way.

Rain gear that's actually soft and stretchy as opposed to crunchy/stiff!

This jacket is great for rain and wind. I live in an area where the weather can be unpredictable and this jacket keeps me protected. Slightly restrictive.

My favorite North Face of all time!!! I use it mostly every day! Perfect for work very casual or even just a quick trip to the store! Amazing fabric quality.

I love this. I saw it on the website and decided I had to have it. I purchased an XL after reading some the comments that it's snug. Its not too snug, but it definitely highlights your curves. Im usually a Large, but still got the XL reading the comments. It still fits wonderfully. I'm a size 14 in jeans, curvy and 175lbs. I love that it comes with velcro on the cuffs the make the cuffs tighter. It also has a zipper on both sides under the arm for ventilation. It's warm and also has a drawstrings to bring it in at the bottom. I wouldn't recommend wearing this alone in 20 degree Chocago winters, but I definitely can wear it for 40 degree weather and up. It's so lightweight and I get asked what type of jacket is it all day long. I just which the logo was stitched on. That would have made it a 10/10. I'd rate it a 9/10.

I love this jacket! The fabric is comfortable and stretches for any activity. I wouldn't depend on it solely for warmth but it's so easy to layer underneath it. If you're too hot...no problem, just open the zippers under your arms for ventilation. Overall great purchase and I love having it in my wardrobe! I'd definitely buy more than one in another color.
