I'm not sure why more people aren't camping with this bag it has so much room for a (small bag, to me more of a med Large) the way we girl scout pack there will be more then half the space available!

Amazing back to travel.

I've been borrowning my roommates North face Duffel everytime I travel. Now I finally have my own. Perfect size and plenty of space for a long weekend trip. Looks great too.

Wasn't sure on the size but 30l worked great for 3 days in Vegas

I travel to work and the gym a lot which helps provide style and comfort on a daily basis. This bag is great because I can fit my clothes, gym gear and shoes with enough space to add more items no problem. I also don't have to worry about the bag durability because of its high quality materials. I like the fact that the duffle can be used as a back pack as well. This is a great feature. It is the reason I bought the bag. The size is perfect and not bulky. It's light and stylish. Overall a great buy with only one complaint. That being with the edition I bought I would have liked if there was a detachable single strap to carry as a duffle rather than the two straps from the back pack purpose. There are no carry straps only the backpack straps. Other than that, this is a great and stylish bag.

I love this bag! It allows me to pack enough gear so I stay warm during the cold mountain and desert nights. I also never have to worry about dropping anything when transporting from the house to car to tent, etc. because it is SO spacious that I can even fit my hiking poles and helmet in it.

Use it mostly for travel. I would definitely buy this product again!

I carry a pelican case with me often and having two rollers at airports isn't ideal. So far so good. Held up to the rotor of TSA.

I love this bag. I felt like I was taking a gamble by ordering it having not seen it in person before, but I'm glad I did. The first day I used it it rained and the bags water resistant material was a life saver. The smaller outside pocket is perfect for storing my phone, wallet keys etc. and the inside pocket is great for toiletries. There's also plenty of room for storage in the main compartment while still feeling like a compact bag.

I have multiple sizes of this duffel bag and I love them. They are perfect for travel or simply as an overnight bag. Durable and comfortable.

Great for traveling

I am glad I bought this bag in 1997 still going strong. One thing I noticed is that the newer design doesnt have mesh pockets on both ends. Mine does! Also the newer design seems wimpy vs the older.. the zip opening is a smaller portal than the old... Basically came here to brag that the older design is better!!! LOL Also I think the backpack straps are poor implementation of a kind backpack function. Once your bag is full enough to need to use it as a backpack you will realize why backpacks have hip straps and why they are so important. These straps will get you down a quick airport hallway..but any longer with a full sack and you are looking for real pain. I am going to modify my bag with a removeable hip strap then this back would be totally great for long hauls in airports or walking back to the hotel through a village... These bags are indestructible!

Gift to fellow WFR to keep in his LR3 Land Rover for work/Emergencies since I already have one!

I love this bag, I tend to travel 6 times a year and I use this. It fits everything for my trips. I love how its a backpack as well, helps than carrying luggage on one side and getting pains.

awesome bag great design, could use a divider or end pockets on the inside. Overall construction of bag is top notch.

I am very impressed with my bag! I love the color in person. You can tell from the material that it is sturdy and will hold up to the label of waterproof, which I tend to be skeptical about. It holds more than my hard shell carry-on luggage and it weighs less. I can't imagine myself using any other bag to travel from now on. Very pleased.

So I have many of these, from the original design to newer end pocket design. I will tell you this they can last a lifetime. My first set was a XS, SM, M, and Large if the Purple. Bought over 15 years ago the bags still look pretty good. You can store everything in these and that's what I have done. I am amazed how big the medium is as I can still fit all my camping accessories: 2 MSR dragonfly stoves with two large MSR bottles MSR two person cookware 4 Black Diamond Orbit lights Thermarest Xlite sleeping mattress MSR Hubba Hubba 2 person tent Mountain hardware 0 degree down sleeping bag Various tools MSR waterworks filter So that's just an idea of what can fit in a medium with room to spare. I then purchased a set of the pink/black in SM and M. Those are still working today. I have found some off colors at the outlet and bought those as they might have minor cosmetic defects but for the most part function flawlessly. Favorites: Just one big open cavernous space. Added side pocket Grab straps on all sides. Caribiner loops - these are awesome if you need to tie them down to a car rack. These things are just durable stop contemplating the decision and buy one. You can find any use case scenarios for these. I've placed one in my travel backpack (osprey transport 40) for when I go shopping then I pull this out and I have a bag ready front the flight home that's carry on approved (XS and SM are for sure)

Perfect back for trips to and from Gym or carry on for travel.
