These shoes are really good looking, especially for "comfort shoes," and the tomato/red color is bright and cheerful. The leather is also durable and comes pre-ScotchGarded so you can start wearing them right away. I did have to exchange my regular size (EU 39/ US 8.5) for a size 38, so like other reviewers I recommend that you size down! I also agree with other reviewers that the ankle strap is in a strange place -- it wraps OVER your ankle instead of below or above. I was nervous that the strap would chafe my ankles while I walked, but after walking a lot over the last four days, I have not experienced any blistering or chafing. In fact, the soles are so supportive that I find these wedges to be more comfortable than many flats! So if you don't mind (1) the too-big sizes and (2) the strange ankle strap placement, then these are great shoes.

These shoes are cuter and more elegant in person than they appear online. The tomato red color is lovely and you can tell the shoes are of quality construction. They do run big, however. I ordered my usual 8.5 (39) — which Zappos recommended to me — and in order to make the shoes stay on I had to tighten the buckle all the way to the smallest hole. Fingers crossed the 38 fits well because I really like these!

This shoe is beautifully designed, well crafted and light weight, however I returned them because they were too loose on my feet. The length was correct, size 36, but I needed a snug fit for my slender feet. I ordered these in gold and really loved the look, the gold is subtle, not too flashy. I would recommend this shoe except for those with narrow or slender feet.

Cute shoe but very wide and run at least half a size large. I'm generally a straight size 7.5, but the 38 were way too large and the 37 was still too wide. Bummer.

These shoes are cuter in person than they look here, and are super comfy.

I wear a lot of Danskos and I thought these would be less bulky and cute, but they look cheap. The leather looks like plastic and the ankle strap is big and ugly.

It's a lovely sandal, I really wanted to love it, but have to return because the foot bed of the sandal is firm than I expected as a Dansko product and I would feel tired the end of the day with this.

Very disappointed. Size was great, roomy toe box for me, but straps were too wide and did not conform to my ankle or heel, gaps & tighter I made strap w buckle did not fix the problem. Leather frayed on buckle strap after trying on. Loved the style but straps need more adjustability & not as wide. Very disappointed!

the back strap was much too large. Had to return because my foot was slipping out.

Lovely-looking sandal, but if your ankle is not just the right size for the (kind of weird)strap, there is really no way to wear it comfortably. So back it goes...
