I typically wear a 39 in Danskos but needed a 38 in these. They are so comfortable for working long shifts!

I'm on the hunt for a perfect basic black flat that is super cushioned and has great arch support (without having that "comfort-fit-shoe" look). This meets all of those criteria - the footbed and arch support make me want to weep with happiness! - but the shoe is at least a half size to a whole size too large on me. For reference, I'm typically a 5.5M in most flats, so I ordered the "36 - US Women's Size 5.5-6", and I can fit at least a whole finger between my heel and the heel of shoe - I just walk right out of them. The kicker is that this is not a Zappos stocking issue, but that Dansko doesn't even manufacture this style in their smallest women's size (35 - US Women's 4.5-5). Zappos can you ask this brand to expand its size range for more women's styles? Our feet need them! Same issue with the Lisanne style from this brand in the same size.

This shoe ran larger than the size all around. It was wider than usual, and felt about 1/2 size bigger.

I really wanted to like these shoes. The foot bed is comfortable as can be and you could walk in them all day. But I have to agree with the other reviewers - my toe hit the top of the shoe and would probably create a problem in the long run. Also agree that European sizing is difficult. I wear a 9 and found the 39 too short and the 40 too long and very loose in the heel.

I love these. I’ve been a dansko clog fan since forever, and I can’t believe I waited so long to try their other shoes. They are really stylish, I’m using them for the office. I did find, like other reviewers, that the toe box was super stiff and uncomfortable when I first tried them on. I almost returned them. But they were so cute that I wore them around the house for about an hour, and the toe box softened up. I can now wear them all day. The only thing I don’t like about them is the insoles are a little slick so at times my foot slips. But overall they are comfortable and look great with a suit or a dress.

I love this shoe! I plan to buy more colors! Dansko’s usual comfort quality and style! Love! So comfortable and classy! My favorite flat shoe! Highly recommend!

I never met a Dansko I didn’t like. Including this delightful flat! The arch support is exceptional. It’s so cute, and so very classy!

Dansko Lisanne are super comfortable and perfect for the office. I wish there were more color choices. The gold, hot pink, and bright blue are just not conservative enough.

These shoes definately had a good syle and the arch support was good. The only reason I marked them down a star is because I feel they ran large. I am a true 8.5 & per Zappos recommendation I ordered a 39 (8.5-9) and they slipped right off my heels. I'm going to exchange & hope a 38 will fit better.

Very pleasantly surprised. I bought the Lisanne so I'd have flats for fall. The size 39 worked for my feet--I wear anywhere from a size 8.5WW to a size 10 M, dependent on the shoe. I usually average a 9 or 9.5. My big toe does go almost to the top of the shoe, but it's nothing unusual. I didn't have an issue with them slipping off my feet due to the elasticized back. They're cute but do look a little matronly, which isn't ideal but I need the support so it's OK. The one thing that's interesting is that they make my feet look really short, which I've never seen before. Going up to a size 40 would have been too big, so the 39 is perfect.

I was a little hesitant to buy these because the sizing seemed finicky based on the reviews, but I took a chance because they were on sale and Zappos is so great about returns. And I like them! Can't beat a basic black flat. I usually wear a size 37 in Dansko, and I bought a size 37 in these. The arch support is not as good as the Dansko shoes with a more rigid sole, but I will be able to wear them all day and be comfortable and look professional. So I'll take it!

such a cute work shoe but unfortunately it was just a little to narrow in the toe box. I will need to return these shoes

I was so sad these did not work out. The toe box is short and narrow. The heel area is looser like the clogs. but the insole was great. I am still a huge Dansko fan, but not this style.

Cute shoes but too wide. I usually wear a M width shoe.

I love this shoe and wanted it to fit so badly, but it's wider and larger than my other Danskos. The heels slipped but I couldn't go smaller in the toe. My feed are medium width, but there were gaps. I ordered the black with the patent toe and loved the look, and like all Danskos, the support is amazing. Wish it had worked!

Too big for my size 9, more like 9.5. Love them, too bad no half sizes

Wanted so much to keep these but I’m a 9, these were a bit small, more like 8.5

These a nice work shoes but don’t be fooled: they are not as comfortable as “regular” Danskos. They gave me blisters on 3 toes and even a couple weeks later, 6-8 times wearing them, they still feel a bit uncomfortable.

The shoes are soft and I like the cushion/support. They gave me blisters because of how high the back is - the lip also comes in towards your ankle a bit so it cuts into you a little. These are the prettiest danskos I've seen, though! I think once my feet get used to them I'll like them more :-)

I really wanted these shoes to fit. I'm having a foot issue and need to have good arch supports in all my shoes. I thought these slip-ons would be perfect, but alas they are too large and slip off the back of my foot when walking. They are going back.

Liked the look of these metallic shoes and had good support as always, from Dansko - I LOVE Dansko shoes! However, my heel flopped out of my normal size. Hate to have to go smaller as they might be tighter in the width. Unfortunately had to return.

Good support, but this shoe seems to run a little smaller than other Danskos I have purchased.

Wonderful arch support. I got the style with the patent leather toe. There is a seam where the two leathers are joined together that rub the tops of my toes. Otherwise these are very comfortable.

Large...but not a full size large. Like, 1/3 of a size large...just large enough that my regular size 38 won't stay on my heels but smaller size 37 is waaaay tight. Maybe with heel grips they would work but between that and the minimal arch support and the blue being more of a navy than the bright cobalt it looks in the photos, I sent them back. Very stylish and cute, I wish they were more comfortable.

High quality materials, inside (fully lined with soft leather) and out. The lack of comfort was from the toe box being too short, and the top cutting in to my foot.
