I have had a pair of the previous generation Addidas Jawpaw shoes for several years and I finally wore them out. The best thing about these shoes is that the footbed inner sole of the show is sewn in so it doesn’t move around or try to slip out of the heel of the show when you walk and the toe area has great reinforcement so your toes won’t poke holes through the upper shoe. The drainage system and sole works very well and for the most part keeps the sand out of your shoes, making them great for walking the beach, paddle boarding kayaking and even walking on sharp rocks. The newer version is an improvement over the previous version and is an excellent water shoe. That said, my feet are very narrow and the Jawpaw 2 shoes felt a little loose in the heel, so after considering it for several days, I reluctantly returned them and instead bought a pair of O’Neill Superfreak Tropical Round Toe Boots because they have laces and a heel tightening strap. I just hope the O’Neill’s work as good as the Jawpaw but hold onto my heel a little better. If not I’ll buy the Jawpaws again. And get years of use out of them.

Fits great, looks good I do wish they had a little white signature adidas logo that would be a boost , but great water shoe, I have been looking for a while and to get them on sale is a plus.

A little heavy, but overall a great value considering the multiple purposes I have planned. The black version definitely won't win any style awards. However, I purchased not only to wear in the water, but because I will be extended traveling over the next year I can wear them with pants and they look like dress shoes.

Great water shoes, rubber sole provides protection even on rougher terrain. Sand does get inside the shoe but that’s normal I guess. I thought the breathing holes under the sole would help some with the sand but it didn’t.

Very comfortable and love the look of them! Get lots of compliments every time I wear them.

Normally if I'm ordering a shoe like this I'm going to wear barefoot, I'd order a half size down. That wasn't an option so I went with normal shoe size. It does feel around a half size too big. In colder water I'll wear a thin neoprene sock with them, and in that case I don't think I'd want to drop a full size. Shoe seems well made but isn't tight fitting around the ankle, if that matters to you.

Run big. Used for camping on island.

Ordered size 10 but felt loose for how I was going to use them. I wear size 10 in most sneakers. Ordered size 9 and they were perfect.
