These are my #1 shoe in the summer and I wear them everywhere. My foot feels supported no matter what the terrain.

I recently had 2 surgical procedures done on my foot. As a result my surgeon advised me to only wear a sandal as it heels. I do not wear sandals. The only thing close is a slide that I wear at home only. I have liked Tevas but never wore one but always wanted to get one. I purchased the Hurricane XLT2 i. black. I truly love them! They are so comfortable. I love to walk and these are perfect. I live in the suburbs but work in NYC. They take me everywhere.Have worn them on nature trails near my home and well as city sidewalks. At the moment they are all I want to wear. I also think they look very cool. I intend to but my more. My only complaint is that the straps are too long.I wear a size 12 but I have a thin foot so I have to fold them a bit around my ankle. Other than than they are marvelous! Thank you Teva!

I was looking for sandals that I could wear during the summer time while walking in Minnesota. These have been all that and more. Probably going to keep buying these on repeat whenever my existing sandals show any signs of wear (which they have not after 3 months)

Wear them everyday. So comfortable.

I wore these for the first time on a rainforest hike through a rainforest in Panam. The trail was muddy, the rocks were slippery, but the grip and support of these incredible sandals were no match for the trail! I was truly blown away by how much support I felt and how good the traction was. They are worth every penny.

Fit exactly like I remember from 30 years ago. Easy, comfortable fit that's perfect for walking the dog through all sorts of terrain.

I bought both the hurricane and mid platform sandals to compare the two. These are my first pair of hurricanes and wow. Next level comfort. I'm keeping both and wearing my hurricanes for fancier occasions because they look so nice.

This is the first pair of men's sandals I have ever purchased and I love them! I moved to the coast a couple of years ago and have worn flip flops frequently, but prefer something that is more secure to my feet and these are awesome. They also have arch support for your feet opposed to flat flip flops. Would definitely recommend these and will purchase these or the latest version in the future.

My tween son wears them a lot, which is the biggest compliment of all. They seem to be comfortable and durable, and the colors are great.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I love this shoe so much, I felt like I had to. My first pair lasted over 4 years of continuous use on rugged terrain as well as every day tasks around town. They are very comfortable and also sturdy. You can wear them without the back strap for casual use (just strap it off to the side), and for more technical activities, you can throw the back strap back on and you're good to go. I wear mine around town, while out rock climbing, and on just about any hike that could be done in a day or less. I will probably always have a pair of Tevas. I imagine that many people who read this will be debating Tevas and Chacos, so I will offer my two cents as someone who has owned both: The footbed on a pair of Chacos is sturdier, which means they could be a bit better for very technical hikes. However this also makes Chacos feel awkward to wear. The footbed is heavy and clunky, and snags on things quite frequently. Chaco straps are also harder to adjust, and they make the shoe relatively difficult to take on/off. Chacos also have a tendency to cause blisters (with or without the toe strap). Tevas are all around more comfortable. They don't easily cause blisters, are easier to adjust, easier to take on/off, and are still very capable in most environments. I would much rather spend a long day of hiking or running errands in my Tevas. Overall, I would recommend Tevas over Chacos 9 times out of 10, with the one exception being on water hikes. I wear my Tevas nearly every day, while my Chacos sit around and collect dust. This is because most times that I am going somewhere where I would want Chacos instead of Tevas, I would be better off wearing hiking shoes or boots anyways. Tevas are just so much more comfortable, and are far more capable than I need them to be.

I wear these all day and they are so comfortable!
