Absolutely love them. And the fit is great only issue is the main strap is too short. There's only about 1" of velcro material left to latch on. Unfortunately make the sandles esthetic look off because instead of the full color strap coming across the foot it's like 75% black from the uncovered velcro.

I usually give the hurricanes XLT2 5 stars but these felt cheap. They gave me blisters and overall does not feel like Teva quality.

I like Tevas and the new straps have a variety of colors that are really cool. However, I do think

Slicker on wet stone than the 10 yr old pair it replaces.
Otherwise fine.

This is the 2nd pair of Tevas I have bought. The first rubbed my foot raw across my little toe so I never wore them. This pair I decided the first were too big and so I sized down, got a size wide with wide straps. These are better but I still experience the same problem to a lesser degree. Being a stubborn person I am trying to soften the strap. Soaking the shoe in Downey has helped as well as working the material back and forth with my fingers. They are stiff and all the velcro makes them stiffer.

Comfort is fine but really have to tighten the straps to keep them on your feet. When doing a lot of walking the rubber bottoms make the bottom of your feet sweat and they do not breath well so they don't dry well.

Not thick enough on the sole. Even small pieces of gravel can be felt.
Fit is fine - just too thin on the bottom.

Really useful sandals, wore them mostly to quickly slip on while watering the plants. Purchased in June 2021, wore them maybe 6 months total (July/Aug/Sept 2021, June/July 2022) and the bottom has detached from the shoe. I don't know if I wore them for the wrong sort of activity (maybe they can't get wet??), or if I got a defective batch. Since the purchase is outside of the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, Teva won't do anything to help me replace these lightly worn sandals. A huge bummer. I definitely won't be ordering this style again, and I might try another brand for my summer sandal.

Strongly considering sending these Sandler back. Have only worn them a little in the house on the rug but I can tell unfortunately because the straps are a tiny bit wider, they land differently across my bunion than my old ones did. I'm so disappointed about that because it makes a big difference. Seems to me I remember reading a similar complaint from one of your other customers. Otherwise I would love them.

I bought these for a cruise and wearing the was somewhat uncomfortable. The straps dug into my small toe and I had to adjust them to fit right. I was able to adjust them to where they did it dig in as much, but I wouldn't want to walk any distance in them.

I've owned these sandals for about a month now. Upon my first few wears I proclaimed to my girlfriend that it was one of the greatest purchases I've ever made. Unfortunately I've had to walk back that statement (no pun intended). After about a week the left sandal started squeaking loudly and also kind of feels squishy under foot. After another week the straps started fraying. The Velcro pieces are unraveling or something so there are long strings of nylon hanging off. These issues make for a somewhat annoying wear and they definitely cost this product some points in my opinion. That being said however, they are very comfortable and supportive, and look great too. I would buy these again one day and hope to not have these problems again. If I did then I would stay away from this product and possibly this brand altogether. Marginally happy customer. Buyer beware. 3/5.

Foot bed would pinch bottom of foot with each step. Also, the straps were a bit coarse and unpleasant. The material felt rather cheap. I could not imagine this lasting more than a couple years. I've had an old pair last over a decade and it was built with more durable material. The color was nice and it was light.

Love the color and the type of sole, but unisex sizing does NOT work for me! I prefer my old Teva's that were sized differently for men and women. Had to return my purchase.

I've always worn the narrow strap, but wanted blue, and tried the wider one. Not a fan

I enjoy parts of these. They're light and come in cool colors.
When wet, I'd rather wear other sandals. The nylon webbing dries slowly; and, with wear afterwards, they rub my big and little toe raw in places.
I'll probably buy a pair of my old brand next year.

I have adjusted, readjusted, and continuously readjusted all the straps and cannot create a comfortable combination. Something somewhere scratches or digs if it's snug enough to keep the sandal on. Also, it's a unisex size, but if you're a female with normal width foot, these are too wide in the foot bed. Colors are also more muted or dull than they appear on computer screen. Not my usual Teva experience. Possibly because this is really a shoe sized for men, even though it is offered in mems/womens comparable sizes.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

the strap going over the arch is way too short. The attaching strap does not cover the velcro enough to hold the strap in place. I will have to return these lovely hurricanes. Does Teva make a sandal with a longer strap?

I bought my first pair of Tevas in 2007 for a trip to South Africa and they were perfect and I wore them for many years. I've been buying Tevas since then and every pair I buy has been changed a bit and this years may be the last pair because they feel cheaper and less comfortable as the years go by but they cost the same or more. Originally I liked the way they formed to my foot but recent purchases don't seem to form as well. I wear them to walk sometimes 8-9 miles a day mostly on pavement but also through the woods and at the beach. Please don't twerk them any more or I will look elsewhere

After a couple of months, the bottom comes unbonded from the top. Lower section starts flopping around
and can cause trips if you are not careful. Eventually you have to throw away a pair of $80-$90 sandals.
And I mean the soles are in good shape

These would be great if they had some padding underneath the foot straps like some of your other offerrings, please consider, or add more color options to other sandals like the "terra fi light". I much prefer those but color options are very limited.

I am devoted to the Teva brand. I bought my Teva sandals in 2008 so it was definitely time for a new pair. I had trouble finding the same style and decided on the Hurricane XLT2. I love the multi colors, the sole is rugged but the straps are all wrong. They are too thick and too short. They pull open when I'm hiking and walking through streams. More stylish than useful. I am keeping them because they are a pretty, outdoorsy sandal but not because they are useful for outdoor fun.
