They're super lightweight and comfortable with a slight arch which is always appreciated. I could walk in these for days if it wasn't for the blistering that's started at the toe strap. The first few wears were perfect, but now I can't walk even half a mile without getting blisters right where the toe strap hits the bones of my big toe. I've tried a looser or tighter strap with no luck. I can wear blister bandaids, but that's not really a solution. I really do love how comfortable these sandals are otherwise and would like to keep wearing them. Any suggestions?

I bought Hurricane XLT2 sandals for my wife. She is a size 7 in all the other sandals, flip flops and assorted open toe shoes. The size 7 XLT2s were too big. I returned them and got her size 6 and they fit much better. The return process was nearly effortless. Other than the size being off she likes and color and feel of them.

The first time I wore these was on a 2-hour hike in Sedona. They were comfortable and sturdy, and my hiking buddies all felt sorry for me having sandals instead of shoes, which I didn't understand. They were easy to put on and adjust. However, at the end of the hike, I realized the bottom of my toes were being rubbed raw, and I was tender the rest of the day. The soles could probably be a little more padded, but they're very firm and I would wear them hiking again (just maybe not before a four-hour ballet class). I had some old secondhand Tevas that got me through my time abroad before falling apart, and I never had a comfort issue with them, so maybe it's just a matter of breaking them in.

I wanted to love these, but the combination of a heavy-ish shoe in general and not very tight/nice-fitting straps made these less of a winner for me. Still, a viable option for sporty but modern looking sandals.

Attractive sandal good for casual wear. Too light for serious walking.

I have been buying Teva's sandals for more than 20 years. Nowadays I buy only models like the XLT2 because they last a little longer, but I still buy at least a pair every year while back in the day the sandals would last a couple of years or more. And I wish there were half numbers available as the 8 is barely right and the 9 too long.

I wear this sandal everyday around the house and to run errands. It's comfortable and gives me the support I need therefore preventing back pain. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't come in half sizes. I usually wear a 6.5, so I wasn't sure whether to order a size 6 or 7. I called and spoke with a customer service representative, and he said he would suggest a size 6 unless I wore a wide shoe which I don't. So I ordered the 6. I feel it's a little short, but I'm afraid the size 7 would be too big.

I've been wearing these sandals for a couple weeks now, and they have become my go to summer shoe! I have flat feet, so the only thing I could benefit more from would be some arch support, but otherwise the fit is great and they're a solid shoe! Very adjustable and comfortable with decent traction.

I just got these sandals in the mail today; they're my first pair of Teva's, and I haven't gotten the chance to wear them out and about yet. My initial impression is they're really good quality, and they fit true to size. I typically need either a woman's 10 wide or an 11, so I went with the 11's, and they fit perfectly. The Velcro straps feel very secure, and the padding on the back of the ankle strap is soft and comfortable, so I can tell it won't cause chafing on the backs of my ankles. The soles feel firm yet pliant, like stepping on thick rubber, in a good way. My only complaint so far is that the extra padding on the back of the ankle straps isn't present on the inner lining of all the straps touching the foot. I don't think it's going to be uncomfortable for short walks, but I feel like the outer edge of my foot closest to my pinkie toes might start chafing for longer, more rugged hikes. I haven't tested it yet though, so I might come back and change the rating to five stars!

True to size, however, the Velcro straps bothered my feet so I unfortunately have to return. Otherwise it is a great shoe!

I bought these for when I take my dog on walks on my local trails. I like the that sole is a little stiffer than the Universal Sandal as well as more traction. The only thing that bothers me is that I can feel indentations on the footbed. Eventually I get used to them, but they are right where I put the most pressure on the footbed, so it sometimes feels like there is something in my sandal.

These are super comfortable but the Teva logo under the heel feels like you are stepping onto something at times. If that logo wasn't there they would be perfect adventure sandals!

I really wanted to like these, the print on the straps is really cute and the soles are very comfortable. However, two issues: the soles are also slippery on tile floors which is strange. I would expect them to have more traction. Number two: the front straps feel that they're too far down on my foot (nearer to the ankle than they should be.) The front of my foot doesn't feel secure in the sandal. So sadly, I must return them.

I love the hurricane sandal for the fact that it feels so comfortable, and is easy to put on! I will see how the Velcro stands up to the test of time. I only took off 1 star because the style itself does look a little cheap. I usually wear a 7.5, but ordered a 7 and it works well!

If you are a big-footed person like I am, you may have run into the fact that, like me, you need a half size. I have the extra long second toe, so an 11 is too short and the 12 is a little too long. As well, I have a very narrow foot, so the medium width does not allow me to cinch it enough to fit my foot. Cute shoe, but I had to send it back.

Cute little trekking sandals, they fit so great! I love all the adjustable straps. I will say, wearing them with socks is a must (at least until they get worn in) because the straps rub on your feet and leave blisters. But a great fit, super comfy!

Great feel and fit. A bit slippery for feet inside the sandal when walking down hill on a hike, tightening up as much as possible helpful. Grip good on trail.

I loved my old hurricanes in a size nine, so i ordered another with confidence. WRONG. it's a half a size smaller at least. very disappointing. sending back, trying to get the sandal in the men's size, since there are only whole sizes in these. TEVA WHY OH WHY!!!

I have been very pleased with my previous Teva purchases, however am somewhat disappointed in this sandal. It is cute, goes with most everything & the fit is true to size. The grooves in the footbed though, make the soles of my feet feel as if I am walking on sand. I would have given it a 5 if it had not been for the footbed. .

prior Teva of similar design had almost zero drop, this model has decidedly more heel to toe drop. For those of you who know what this means, you know it is a huge issue. My old pair of Teva's will have to keep on truckin' until I can find one that works.
