It's a little heavy, but great for late winter and spring time. The arms fit well but the end of the jacket flares out unless you tighten the bottom fastener, but it makes the bottom look weird. Other than that I like the jacket.

I ordered 3x and while it fit, it was actually to large. The sleeves were too long and large with no adjustable wrists.

This is a very nice light weight jacket. I wasn't sure if I should have bought the 2x or 3x so I went with the 3x and it was a little bigger than I thought it would be. I still love it and it looks very nice.

Depending on your shape this is pretty close to an accurate size or a little small. I can zip it up without issue in a 3x (plus size clothing 22/24), but would prefer a more roomy cut around the hip. If you are pear shaped or at the top end of your size, I'd suggest sizing up. Perfectly suitable for most rain/wind conditions during winters in Texas. Also worn in Alaska in May with no issues soaking through while on small charter boats on the ocean or in standard SE Alaska rain conditions. Suitable warmth for 40ish degree weather without much, if any, layering. Quality is good. No noticeable wear or tear with light use.

Protects you from wind and rain. Keeps you warm. Not heavy. The sleeves is just a little bit long but otherwise perfect

Jacket is more for people who have boxy shoulders.

The Arms a little long, but I would rather have that them short. I am pear shape and the jacket is a little snug at the waist. I tried a size bigger but that was too big everywhere else. I still kept the jacket

Love Love this coat. I got this coat in pink. The arms are little long, but I can deal. It was a great buy.

First softshell jacket, runs a little large and sleeve is a bit long. Feels light and comfy, room to layer. Like that it breaks the wind and fine for light rain. Think it will be nice for spring and fall weather. Looking for another one in a different color.

This jacket runs big. I had to return it. I have purchased a large that fits great. Since the material is stretch it gives room to move around and forms to the body.

I had ordered a 3X using the measurement provided. When I received the jacket it was very loose fitted. So I would order a size down since t does run a little large.

the fit is very odd. it seems more like tlike a men's cut. the shoulders were ample and boxy , the bust area was sized correctly but not roomy , the hip was a closer fit than expected and I am not pear shaped! , the sleeves were 2 plus inches too long I wear Columbia almost every day ( I work outdoors) and this fit is nothing like any of my other 5 coats. The material was thinner than previous soft shells - and not as warm. That could be good or bad depending on what you are seeking. its not stiff or heavy . Its does drape pretty well but not quite enough to make up for the manly shoulder cut. . not as water resistant as my previous Columbia soft-shell Canteen color is a wonderful green. Pockets are roomy enough for hands or dog snacks. keeping this coat - it covers my body and the color is great. but with a sense of disappointment. I washed it in Tek Wash and it washed well.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
The fit of this jacket was fine, but I disliked the fabric, which doesn't breathe whatsoever. I felt overly warm once I tried it on.

2x was tight. Have other Columbia items in 2x that fit slightly large. Go figure.

Sleeves too long and cheaply finished so that they can't be adjusted. Boxy fit and the materials used feel cheap as well. I'm glad that Columbia offers plus-sized items, but they use cheap materials and finishes on them. Sad.

Because of Columbia sizing, I have a hard time fitting their clothes. I am a 22W. Their sizing at 2X is 20-22W which runs a bit small and their 3X is 24-26W which is what I have to buy and then alter. The sleeves on my last three Columbia jackets have been extremely long and have had to re-hem. This jacket, I actually had to make a 1 1/2 hem and add elastic to the sleeves to make this wearable. Only buy these because price is right.

I ordered this in a size 2x as that is the same size of the winter jacket I purchased from Columbia. This one however, is too tight in the shoulders, but fit good everywhere else. It was a little shorter than I would've preferred, but I could've dealt with it if the shoulders fit. The thickness was perfect for what I was looking for in a spring jacket, and the quality seemed good, however I did end up returning it because of the tightness in the shoulders. If you're a plus size lady with slimmer shoulders, this might be the coat for you.

The perfect jacket but size ran smaller than the other Columbia products I purchase. I would recommend ordering 1 size larger if it is available.

This a beautiful jacket, but the sleeves are way too long and way to wide. I'm having them altered, since I bought this on sale.

Sleeves were about 5 inches too long for me, and I generally don't have arm length issues with clothes. Also very boxy. Nice idea, but poor design and colors

I purchased a similar Columbia jacket about 5 years ago and wore it straight into the ground. I was really excited at the prospect of being able to purchase a replacement. The new jacket does not have the detail or the feel of the old one. The new material is stiff and scratchy. I might "warm up" to it in time, but am disappointed overall. I love Columbia products and think, for the most part, they are a great value for the money.

Disappointed in the fit. The sleeves were at least 3-4" past my finger tips. Size 3x was very bunchy and baggy in the shoulder area. Tried a 2x which was better but the sleeves again were way too long. 2x was also tight through the back shoulders. Too bad because the material and quality was nice.
