Loved the jacket, perfect fit but is not lined as the website states: Fabric:
Shell: Hydroplus 100% nylon, Lining: Fine Mesh 100% polyester. This is incorrect, there is no lining at all in this jacket, returned, not worth the cost

it only has one layer of cloth. it is uncomfortable when you sweat because it is not absorbent

I bought this for my daughter, she purchased her usual size, but this was way to small. Even if it had fit, we would have returned it. The material is very, very thin. I wan't expecting a winter coat, but this is not much thicker than you're average trash bag. Most disappointing, was the fact that after all that we had to pay shipping to return it.

This jacket is not lined and tends to stick to your arms. I would not purchase this jacket again. The outer material is waterproof and expels water.

The color is beautiful..the size runs small. I wish I could get the same product in a jacket that fits.

I purchased this as a fall rain jacket. The product is much lighter in weight than I expected. The jacket is a single lightweight layer that would only serve to repel water. I would only recommend this jacket for warm weather. I wish that I had purchased one size larger as I will have to layer under the jacket for any kind of warmth. I would highly recommend as a spring jacket, this jacket is definitely not a piece for the season I intended (fall/cooler rainy weather).

I was really hoping that this jacket would work out for me because of all the amazing reviews but it just didn't. Like the previous reviewer mentioned, there is no lining on the inside so it feels like you are wearing a plastic bag. I prefer to have some sort of lining whether it's mesh or another light layer because it makes the wear more comfortable and breathable. Without the inside lining, the jacket sticks to your skin and it gets hot easily. You'll probably have to wear a long sleeve underneath for more comfort. I ordered the Cactus Pink in a size small and the color is very pretty and I would say it's true to size. I'm disappointed that this jacket didn't work out for me and I will be returning it.

It says in the description soft mesh lining, I don't see/feel any mesh lining. I live in Florida, mesh lining helps alot while its hot and rainy. This is just the material that sticks to you. It fits good (Medium) and i love the color (Dark raspberry), but i dont think i am going to keep it.

I wanted a very light shell I could throw on when it was just a tiny bit too warm to wear my trusty Acadia jacket (lined) in a pop up storm. I bought the raspberry one. This one is light and waterproof, and it is fine when wearing a light long sleeve layer underneath. The first time I wore this with short sleeves, I took a five minute walk down the block in 60 degree humid weather, and the jacket was damp with sweat. I wore it in 60 degree weather in a torrential downpour. It kept me dry, but I soon ended up indoors in a somewhat warm crowded hallway for five minutes to avoid hail. I was dripping with sweat when I left. It looked like I had been rained upon. Gross. It is NOT BREATHABLE AT ALL. There is no lining. It is waterproof, but it feels like I've been rained upon inside my jacket if any amount of warmth from my skin touches the jacket.. As such, I won't be able to wear this when I am hiking around and actually exerting physical effort. I have a lot of trusty Columbia gear. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed with a purchase.

I was super excited to purchase this coat! Light weight shell for layering, and flattering fit with the promise of 'waterproof'. I wore it once hiking on a typical PNW rainy day. Within 30 min I was soaked through to my layering sweatshirt! Needless to say I was pretty bummed. I'm still a Columbia fan, but wouldn't recommend this coat as a waterproof layer.

I like the color - dark berry - and that's about the only thing I like about the jacket. It has no lining at all. It doesn't look very waterproof because the seams are not sealed. Luckily I live in Seattle and even though we rain a lot but they are mostly drizzles.

The description in the website said this jacket had a liner. The jacket I received, did not have any liner and is see through. It's not waterproof, it's water resistant. It's more like a windbreaker, than a rain jacket. Fit and color are as described.

I live in Washington and I have found that this is not the best rain jacket. Water infiltrates and the jacket will end up soaking wet.

The fit of this Columbia Switchback III is completely off, too tight in the chest/shoulder area. Also I am disappointed in the overall cheap nothing-much-to-it jacket that should not even cost more than $12.

Hi. I normally don't write reviews, but on this I will. It was super thin, kind of like a nice trash bag or a cheap tent and for that price it should have a lining inside, not that I paid full price. I did send it back. I would not recommend this rain jacket, especially when you can buy a nicer one for a cheaper price.

Ordered what I usually wear, an XL and I could barely get it on. I was super excited for this jacket and was definitely disappointed.

I bought this because here in the Pacific Northwest we have to have plenty of water resistant clothing. THIS IS NOT. Because I have several Columbia jackets that are water resistant I didn't give it a second thought about removing tags. Now I'm stuck with a wind breaker.

This jacket is completely see through. I was wearing a patterned dress when I put on the jacket and you could see every flower in detail. The material is more like a plastic poncho. Will be returning.
