Item description states 100% nylon shell; garment tag states 100% polyester shell. No back vent as stated in product description. Returned as I wanted nylon fabric and venting. NOTE: Sleeves run large and long. Body of garment tailored so consider sizing up.

The jacket feels like a plastic bag. Which I understand it's a rain jacket, however the inside feels undone it's scratched the skin that is exposed.

I personally like the fit and the design features. I personally like the fit of this jacket and the design features, but this jacket only works well for about a year. It lost all water resistance after that and now absorbs water as readily as any other jacket. I was unable to restore it with a waterproofing spray from REI that had good reviews. Water still won't bead at all. The jacket is pretty useless now as it provides no warmth and isn't thick enough to break wind.

This jacket is cute and I liked that it could fold into it's own pocket for storage, but it isn't waterproof! I wore this in moderate rain without an umbrella for 15 minutes and it was completely soaked through. I only bought this because I need a rain jacket but unfortunately it's completely useless - it definitely cannot "withstand a downpour at a moment's notice" as the description states.

I bought this specifically since I've functioned without a raincoat for many years and spent a very soggy week without one. This is a very thin material that is still rain repellent. Since it is rain repellent it's not overly breathable but it doesn't have additional layers of warm cloth so it's a good spring/fall coat - ie 50/60 degrees F.

Fits great. Looks good. I like the placement of the hood.

What a great jacket. I did order a size up, so it will fit comfortably. I normally wear a medium, I ordered a large, it fit perfectly over a shirt. Color is great, quality is great. Very happy with my purchase.

Exactly what I needed, lightweight & water resistant

Have 2 of the Acadia rain jackets, ordered the Switchback for a light spring/summer windbreaker. I'm sure it would be fine for light rain/drizzly days too. Love the color selections.

This jacket is truly lightweight and the color is beautiful and vibrant. It is true to size but because it isn't any stretch to the material you might want to size up so that you don't feel restricted. Overall it's a great buy!

I can always come to Columbia for a great product. I wanted a lightweight, non-bulky, bright windbreaker and found the perfect one. The hood tucks nicely into the collar, the pockets are generous, and did I tell you the color is so refreshing. It does run a wee bit small.

I wanted a lightweight jacket with a clean design. The XS fits perfectly with my lightweight Columbia fleece tops that I wear in the spring, fall and winter. I wanted a jacket with a more tailored look and at 5'5" 120lbs the XS fits nicely.

The jacket I is light weight but will protect you from the wind& rain.

I have the same jacket in blue and really am thrilled I could get it in white. Great on the golf course!

This jacket was great for a warm rainy day. The water beaded up on the surface and rolled off. Once the rain stopped it was easy to fold and stash in my backpack. The color is just like the photo and looks great. The jacket is well-made and all the zippers work well. The side zip pockets are roomy enough for my phone and other stuff. I expect it to last a long time. I have several Columbia fleece jackets and this will make a great layer when the weather is wet. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
