perfect “shell” for warmer weather.

The jacket is lightweight and does exactly what it's supposed to. I got my usual size small, and had enough room to layer a thick sweater. I also love that it packs within one of the pockets for easy portability.

I ordered and XL and am 5'3" 170 lbs and it fits fine. There is plenty of room for sweatshirt or sweater underneath. I am hoping it keeps me dry. It looks like it will. I love that it is so compact and plan on using it for travel abroad as it doesn't rain much in southern california. I am pleased with construction and it looks like it will hold up well. I also enjoyed the variety of colors to choose from.

Runs true to size. Light-weight but packs a functionality punch! Great as light rain/mist gear. Light weight enough for hikes and great at providing light weight sun protection. The hood ticks nicely into the collar and is t bulky when it's tucked away. Crisp material but not in a stiff way.

It is light as well as can easily bring with you in purse.

This jacket is really good for the purpose. The material is nice and its not too thick and is extremely rain proof.

I got the Dark Seas color and it's gorgeous! I'm 5'5 150 pounds and the medium fits perfect. Took this jacket with me on a backpacking trip it kept me warm and protected from the rain but lightweight so not to add extra weight on my trip. Super cute and functional couldn't ask for a better lightweight rain coat.

I bought this jacket at the last minute for a windjammer cruise in Maine in August. It did the job (we did get some rain) and was comfortable and stylish at the same time. Very happy with the purchase!

I needed a jacket for a summer trip to Switzerland during a heat wave there. The mountains were nonetheless still chilly and rain was also possible but I did not have room for a heavy jacket. This was perfect, very warm over a light layer underneath. This jacket is not breathable but that actually was a plus in this instance, quite wind and water proof and it didn't take up much space in my carry-on. Was very glad I had it.

This jacket is exactly what I needed! Very light weight so it packs easily. Nice shape and classic styling. Perfect for misty weather.

I bought this for a trip. I am able to fold it up and place in a sandwich ziplock bag so that I can put into my purse. This jacket once you shake it out the wrinkles go away.

Perfect lightweight jacket for warm morning walks in Texas when I might run into rain. I tie it around my waist however it packs perfectly into its own pocket too. Will be a great travel jacket. Bought the blue for morning walks and thinking of buying another color for regular everyday wear.

I own two of these jackets, one in fuchsia and one in dark cyan. I live in the western NC and walk every day. Because we have a lot of rain in our area, I needed a lightweight rain jacket for my walks. The Switchback has proven to be the perfect jacket for my needs and has never failed to keep me dry, even in a heavy downpour. I am 5'6" and weigh 130 pounds. I purchased this jacket in the medium and the fit is perfect without being too constricting. I wear it even in the winter as an outer shell with one or two thermal tops underneath and have been comfortable in temperatures down into the lower 20's. This jacket is so versatile and I highly recommend it for those who want a lightweight rain jacket that performs well.

Great rain jacket for the spring, summer and fall. A classic look to it. My 31year old daughter borrowed it and now is going to buy herself one.

This jacket is great for travel late spring through early fall. Bought one size larger for layering. The sleeves are a little long but the velcro allows for snugging at the wrist.

I m not a fan of internet shooping when it comes to clothes, but if its columbia , it never let me down. Quality and the size is alwasy as expected.

I bought the lagoon for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it. The color is a great spring color and looks fantastic on her. Normally I would have bought the small for her, but after reading the reviews I went ahead and bought the medium and glad that I did. It fits her perfect. It has a hood that hides away which upon buying I didn't realize that it did by the pictures. A great lightweight spring jacket! I definitely recommend

This is the perfect rain jacket for days when there is just a light rain or drizzle. It is thinner than my other Columbia rain jacket but still has light protection. I bought the purple and the color is beautiful!

I bought this to be a rain jacket. I didn't want it lined as I wanted to be able to wear it in the summer. I bought the purple and it matches my Hunter rain boots perfectly.
