Great shoes. Doctor recommended another Saucomy shoe in which no longer make. I got to have arch support and these shoes work. I am supposed o ave my shoes switched out every 6 months. Unfortunately due to budget unable to do so, but these shoes did get through a year.

This is my first review. I recently sprained my ankle, have flat feet, wide and had a total knee replacement. My Dr said get a shoe that has stability, for flat feet and overpronators. Well, I have a pair of Saucony that has a good arch support and needed a second pair. I have tried
Brooks, Vionic, Saucony, Asics and have had such a hard time finding something
that has all that support and stability
and still feels comfortable! I think I have found it in Saucony Hurricane ISO 4.
I have no clue what all these different
styles do for me, I have just been reading reviews and trying them on and praying!
I have not walked very much yet, just trying them on in the house. The true test will be when I go for walks with them.
I’m hoping they will help my gait, get rid of knee, heel, ankle and back pain! In other words...miracle shoes! Thank you Zappos for allowing me to try all these brands and shoes for a great fit! It is very difficult for me to find a great pair of shoes!

One word: amazing. I ran my first 3 marathons in Asic Gel Kayano and suffered from major corn formation between my baby toe, 4th toe, and 3 toe on both feet and blister formation on the bottom of my feet. I was sold the Asics by a reputable running store because it was determined I needed a motion control shoe. The most recent generation of Gel Kayanos caused these problems to worsen. So I had to try a new shoe. I went to another running company and was given these to try. I could not believe I had run for 3 years in the Kayano. I NO LONGER HAVE CORNS, AND I NEVER GET BLISTERS!!!!! Thank you, Saucony, for making a shoe with a lot of room for my forefoot to spread in the toe box. I also got significant improvement in knee and hip discomfort after long runs because of the wonderful cushioning in these shoes. My feet have never been so happy running :) The Boston Marathon will be a lot more fun in these!

I've had Sauconys in the past and loved them. But not this pair. The cushioning around the back of the shoe and on the tongue was so thick that it was uncomfortable. Once I tied the shoes, the tongue bulged out between the strings so not only was it uncomfortable, but it looked really bad. The footbed was comfortable and I like the look of the shoe, but unfortunately I returned them before getting to wear them.

This is my second pair of this exact shoe, got the same color because it was on sale. My foot runs wide and I have high arches. The hurricane has been good for me for 20 years. After suffering from planters fasciitis, I am very careful with shoes.

I am super pleased with these sneakers so far. They felt a little big at first, but not enough to go down a half size. The arch support is excellent, and so is the cushioning. After trying on 16 pairs of supportive sneakers, these are my final choice to replace my Asics GT 2000 5 sneakers that I wore out. I don't actually run, but I sometimes walk many miles, and at work I might stand for hours, so I need the support and cushioning.

With Saucony, I always buy half a size bigger than what I normally wear. Love these shoes! Know that the tongue and shoelaces are fluorescent....gray would have been nice....

I've been wearing Hurricanes for years. They fit me well and are excellent in quality. I've learned by experience that I need to get a half size larger than my normal size. My only criticism of the most recent pair is the double lacing which makes tightening and loosening the shoes difficult.

Overall, I love these shoes! I usually wear a 10.5, but needed an 11 in these. I ordered one pair in medium width and one pair in wide. I can't decide which is the better fit for me. I wear orthotics (super feet) and with them in, there might be slightly too much arch support. But I am pretty much happy. One caveat. The tongue is sort of weird and needs to be adjusted a lot.

This is my fifth pair of hurricanes. Ive tried a lot of different shoes before finding these. I work all day on my feet and they are pretty much always sore. I run 40 miles a week, and think running shoes should mimic barefoot, which I believe is healthier for overall alignment( back, hips etc) but I really NEED the cushioning. Hurricanes are a good compromise, really good cushioning, nice and low drop. The quality is ok, a few pairs have had issues, ( loose soles, holes) But I haven’t found any other shoe that I can run in, almost pain free, after working all day. Treat your feet. I actually look forward to putting these on. They last Me about 5 or 6 months, I can feel the cushioning going well beforehand but $$$$. I do wish that saucony would update their color choices.

Very nice cushion. Not as much stability as I'd like. Pretty good responsiveness. Lacing system helps with stability, lets me secure my foot down pretty good without discomfort that would occur if I'd laced them that tight in other shoes. usually get wides in running shoes but the wide in these was too much, it made the upper material bunch in places when I tightened the laces. Like the 8 mm drop, it's a nice transition to a lower drop from the 10-12 mm shoes I've been running in. Purple color is not awful but I tend to prefer "mens" shoe colors.

I hate the color purple, and I still bought the gray/blue/purple ones instead of the gray/orange ones. Be warned: the orange is SO MUCH BRIGHTER than what the picture shows. I love the dark gray, but the neon orange is a dealbreaker.

I am so disappointed in all the running shoes I've tried for overpronators. This shoe lacked the support I needed though comfortable otherwise and nice looking. I dislike many of the garish color combinations I've seen. Unfortunately these went back and still searching....

These shoes do not provide adequate ankle & arch support. They only have 4 laces.

I purchased these to replace my Hurricane ISO 2, which were my all time favorite running shoes. The current model has a few "upgrades" that have changed the fit and feel of these shoes. Prior versions were plush and supportive, this version its stiff and supportive. The soles are not as flexible as they used to be, making them feel clunky. It feels like an effort to takes strides with these on my feet. The fit is not as snug as prior versions as well, so the fit was slightly off (my foot now moves around). The support is fantastic though. I over pronate severely on one foot, and the Hurricane is the absolute best at support. The style looks great as well. My street shoe size is a 9 or 9.5, running shoes are 10. The 10 used to work in this style, but now does not fit well. I am returning these, and will purchase the Saucony Guide, which i have tried in a store and fits perfect.

I liked these shoes but didn’t feel as if I got enough arch support. With my feet issues I really need that additional support. I’m sad that they didn’t work out.

I have worn many Hurricanes for the past 12 years because of their excellent fit and and support. The ISO 4 was dissapointing because they were too soft, no arch support, and a "squishy" feeling. I cannot imagine runing in these. Returned.

This shoe has great stability and cushioning without feeling heavy or clunky. After a period of a few years with lots of health and orthopedic problems, I'm just walking/jogging.
I have a pair of the Hurricane ISO 5s, and got this ISO 4 on sale. I like this version just as well as the newer one.

These shoes are comfortable, not only with the amount of cushion but the width of the shoe. I have ran in Hurricanes for about 10 years, and any time I have tried to venture to a different brand, I swiftly return. I love the changes to the toe box and evolution of the shoe over the years,

I love my new hurricane saucony running shoes. They are so comfortable and provides a lot of cushion around the heal. I had to size up 1/2 a size. This is my first time trying this brand and I would highly recommend them. Since purchasing these shoes my foot and heal pain, I experienced in the past while running, is gone.

Many, many years ago I developed plantar fasciitis. I started wearing Saucomy Hurricane shoes with an orthodic insert, and my symptoms ceased. As long as I can continue to purchase and wear Saucomy Hurricane I can enjoy walking 100%.
