I am new to running, started about a month ago, and don’t really have any far-reaching goals, like running marathons any time soon. My husband has had Vibram V-run shoes for a while and he swears by them. So I decided to get myself a pair. On Vibram website they recommended getting a size smaller than you normally wear, that applies specifically to V-run model. I followed the recommendation. Size 35 that I purchased fit my size 36 feet perfectly. I took them for a spin the next day and ran my normal distance without any trouble. I know they take some adjustment for most people, so I attribute my ease of switching to minimalist running shoes to being new to running, hence no existing habits as far as running goes, and may be to the fact that I’ve been wearing high heels pretty much every day since I was 16 and dancing salsa in 3” heels for years... I’m pleasantly surprised how weightless these shoes feel when running. And I love the color! Very positive experience here, folks. By any means, give these shoes a try if you are thinking about it.

Huge shoe. I always wear a 9, which was a 42 on the sizing chart. My toes didn't even hit the toe portion. Ordering two sizes smaller and fingers crossed it's better!

I have developed hammer toe in my old age (58)and thought I'd try these. Hard to get your toes in at first but it gets easier and It works keeping my toes in line. Decent support.i have another pair that are like sandals and they are way less supportive. I'm happy. Haven't tried washing them yet

I am debating whether or not to keep these. They are not nearly as comfortable as my old ones. The fabric seems cheaper and stiffer - what I like about my old ones is they are soft and fit like a glove. These are stiff and I think they will rub. They also seem to have an odd bump on the outside of the sole which I can feel when I walk in them. And though I marked true to size, they don't feel right. They are longer and tighter than my old ones. Just overall kind of weird. Decision made - they are going back. Sad that REI store doesn't carry these anymore. My first 2 pairs I was able to try on and find the right ones. This is annoying to have to send them back.
