We really struggled to find shoes to fit our daughter's new Cascade DAFOs - we tried many of the usual options (Plae, Tsukihoshi, Nike Flyease, Stride Rite, Saucony, and other XW New Balance styles) and these were the only pair we found that would accommodate her brace. I was so grateful to find something that worked and in a cute color (and also that Zappo's free returns made it possible for us to try all of those options!) They're holding up well to daily wear -see photos of the brace and shoe w/ brace for reference.

Perfect with our Cascade DAFO 4!!! We tried two different style Plae brand (that worked with her old SMOs) and they did not fit her new DAFOs. These fit like a glove, open wide for her chubby little feet, easily slide on and Velcro with no problem! We ordered extra wide, 1/2 size bigger, and removed insoles. They are super cute and she’s so proud of them! Very thankful to find these after exhausting many different options!

My daughter just started wearing SMOs and I’m so grateful for the Moms that posted reviews about these shoes with their kids orthotics! These shoes fit well with the smos (I did go up a whole size so 5.5 to 6.5 for my 20 month old) and extra wide! I love that they have free returns because the size chart wasn’t accurate for us and we did take the inserts out of the shoe for more depth. I will be using zappos for both my kiddos now since both of my girls have wide feet. I love that these are a great sneaker too! They’re more supportive than most sneakers these days

The fit and width was perfect! My daughter has to wear Orthodics and they fit like perfection with this shoe I just looovvveee! Once she grows out of them I know exactly what to order again!!

We ordered a Toddler size 10 W for our daughter. She has chubby little feet, and these were perfect. So comfortable and so much cuter in person than the pictures. Our daughter was so excited to wear them, she told me they make her faster. They are so sturdy and well made. Definitely buying her New Balance for a while.

My review is for the normal/medium width shoe not the wide width. My one year daughter has a long narrow foot, which apparently is not what toddler shoes are made for. We have tried dozens and dozens of shoes on her and everything is very wide/loose and her foot slips around inside, even with thick socks. We first found this shoe in a discount retailer (Ross) in size 4 and it looked much narrower than typical toddler shoes so we gave it a try and it actually fit her very well. Since she is so difficult to fit we purchased the 4 and a size 5. I have been looking for larger sizes ever since. I was thrilled to find the same shoe on this site and purchased sizes 6, 7, 8 and 9. I would highly recommend this shoe in medium width if your child has a narrow foot.

Great fit and quality. I like how the design protects my daughter's little feet. I buy new balance for my two kids, they always work great for us and the are very durable!

My daughter has wide feet and it can be so hard to find her cute shoes that fit. These are a dream. This is my third pair over 2 shoes sizes for her. Not only are they cute and fit well, but they hold up really well to the beating they take at daycare. Love these shoes.

Great shoe. Holds up very well with toddlers and playing outside. They seem very comfortable on her. True to size. Love that they come in 1/2 sizes.

Bought these for my 2 year old daughter she had the gray pair for at leadt 6 months and they wore amaxing which is why I bought the same pair in a larger size in the Himalayan pink. Great price, excellent shoe, it's flexible on the sole not stiff like many toddler sneakers so she can walk naturally!

Bought this for my 18mo old who has extra wide feet. She didnt have any trouble walking in them and the width is perfect without spending $50 on other brands. Very happy.

The shoe is well made and true to size. Very happy with the purchase. I would buy these again.

I purchased these for my niece. She has a very wide foot, so I’m thankful for the extra wide width that New Balance offers. There was a little side to side motion required to get the shoe on due to the fact that the laces are elasticized and permanently attached to each side. The extra wide width made it a little easier to slip on with regards to the lace construction as well as providing plenty of wiggle room for her toes.

Amazing shoes. We order every time my daughter’s food grows. She has developmental delays and hypotonia, so she must wear safe shoes for school. She loves to wear them and asks for them each morning. Great shoes!

My son was wide feet so I ordered a wide - he moves them! Best show for active toddlers with wide feet.

Wonderful shoe that’s held up nicely with a girl who’s always on the go. Her socks were only died bright pink for a couple of days and then we were fine.

Love the look and my little one seems to walk and run well in them. I’d definitely recommend and/or buy again.

Love that the Velcro strap on this is long enough. A few of the new balance sneakers have straps that are too short. This is a great shoe! Sturdy and adorable too.

Love this green color which is a nice alternative to pink for girls.

These shoes are absolutely adorable and my daughter loves them! She wears them everywhere and says that they’re comfortable and has absolutely no complaints!
