Best sandals ever - I could wear these forever. I have tested them in puddles, walking around campus, and taking the dog around the block in 95 deg heat - no blisters, no pain, no problem. The lord doc marten has truly blessed earthlings with this sandal. Amen

Runs 1 size too large, but I love them! I read previous reviews saying they run big, and so I purchased a size smaller then my usual size. (I’m an 8, bought a 7) I’m glad I did, they’re a perfect fit! They’re a medium weight, very comfortable sandal. They look just like the pictures, and are of great quality leather/rubber. The back strap is an adjustable buckle and has many holes/settings to give a custom fit. Definitely recommend!

This cute sandal runs super long. Just reordered a size down Fingers crossed that they fit.

LOVE these sandals! Please be aware that these are UK sizes AND they run big, so although it gives the US size in parenthesis, you need to go one size down. For instance, I am a true 7, but I had to return/reorder this sandal to purchase the UK 4 (US size 6) and it fits perfectly! I have only tried these on, haven't worn them yet, but I am expecting them to be quality shoes as Doc Martens usually are. They are cute and not too clunky looking, but just that right amount of thickness. And, they are not heavy, which is nice. They are using a more foamy type of material for this shoe, not the hard rubber soles as is used for their boots. Hope this helps!

Very comfortable. Felt a tiny bit wide for me (I wear average width, size 8) so if your foot is narrow it may feel loose. There isn't a way to tighten the width.

AWESOME sandals. Everything i wanted- chunky, comfortable, lightweight. I am a solid size 8.5 and ordered the 9, definitely should have ordered the 8, they seem to run a little big.

They looked huge out of the box but ended up being exactly the right size for me. I purchased my regular Dr. Martens’ size (US 9/UK 7) and the fit was perfect. The strap in the back is adjustable for my long, narrow feet. These are serious sandals: solid, strappy, and a nice platform. However they are surprisingly light. I am wearing these with dresses and skirts and they rock. If you love Doc’s and are a fan of their vision of individuality, street style plus function you will love these!

These fit great because I followed other reviewers advice to size down. I normally wear a women’s 9 so went for the 8 (was 6 in this case). In my regular size would’ve been too long and too wide, but these are just right. Super comfortable right out of the box. Sturdy, yet still cute, and lighter than regular docs. These are a great sandal if you want to look good but still do some serious walking!

After heavily looking through the reviews of this shoe decided to size down by one (I got an US women’s 8, I’m normally a 9) and they fit perfectly! Luckily I don’t have an issue with half sizing so I didn’t have to figure that out. They’re super comfortable! I have little to no arch in my foot so these I had to break in a little due to that. I also feel as though the more I wore the shoe and got used to the fit, the top seemed to loosen a little.

I am comfortably an 8.5 and can often squeeze into an 8 (US). Ordering a 6UK/8US for these was PERFECT. I love them!!! A+

This shoe was HUGE, two sizes to big or perhaps a size and a half! SIZE DOWN, but shoe is awesome, hope they have my size -wah!

Love these sandals! Sturdy and very comfy without sacrificing style, and it feels like I'm walking on foam all day long. I get compliments everywhere I go.

These Dr Martens are awesome shoes! But too small for me so I've got to send back! They are so much lighter than regular dr martens. So disappointed I've got to send them back.

My summer favorite

Read lots of reviews about these being monstrously big and not true to size, but I didn’t find this to be the case! I’m a size 9.5 so I just went with a 9 and they fit absolutely perfectly! The straps on top are a little loose so if you don’t like that feel I don’t recommend these, but I honestly prefer that. Good arch support, not too high, not too low. Suuuper lightweight, which makes them feel cheap-ish? But they’re super comfy and cute and they might last forever, who knows!

So I kept thinking about these shoes and ordered them while laying in bed dreaming about them. When they arrived and I pulled a boat out of the box I remembered why I didn't order them the first time around! I forgot that I read the reviews that said they ran big and that there wasn't a size down available. I ordered my regular size. What a waste of resources. They are huge. Sadly, they went back. I didn't even pull the second shoe out of the box. So yeah, Zappos reviewers warned me but the middle of the night shoe binge got the best of me! Don't waste your time thinking, well maybe they will work....no they will not, they run big.. end of story.

Super comfy, especially in the arch support/sole, easy to walk in. I’m usually a perfect 8.5, these seem a little big, but not enough to bother with returning.

I am an old Doc Marten fan and kept reading and hearing about how light they are now. I am all about light and comfort. I found they ran true to size, I am a 11 and they were not too big but they ran narrow for my slightly wider foot. The overlap of the strap rubbed my toe and my little toe was squished so they were not comfortable. The foot bed was nice and for a more narrow foot they would be fine.
