This is the very Best style that Chaco has come out with. The wider straps are way more comfortable than the standard ones, and I have a dozen of them. they don't slip at all, so no need for constant adjusting. They stay put and hold my feet to the footbed nicely. I wear these everyday, I have med-wide feet and the width is perfect, and the length I found to be true to size. The arch support is perfectly placed, and the cloud footbed has more give to it, and is much more comfortable than the harder regular footbed. 5 star shoe!!!******

This is my first pair of Chacos. I tried a style of Tevas and 2 other Chacos. I quickly eliminated the Tevas, but on the Chacos, the third pair was the charm. I ordered my normal size, and it worked each time, but the straps just weren’t quite enough. My narrow heel slipped, and I was worried it might cause a blister. I was comparing the Zvolv and a Cloud. Because Zappos makes it so easy, I decided to try the Mega Cloud, and the wider straps did it for me. I am usually all about black & white, but the blazer navy caught my eye in these, and I absolutely love it. It might not be a neutral, but it would go with almost anything. These and a pair of strappy Crocs are what I lived in on a trip to Maui, with hikes and beach time the main activities.

I have made endless fun of one of my dearest friends for wearing Chaco's. With summer around the corner and our first camping trip on the books, I decided to take the plunge. I saw a photo of this exact pair on the Chaco's website. They were on actual feet, not just by themselves. I thought the thick straps and black and white geometric design actually looked great! I read reviews all over the place and I was kind of stuck not knowing if I should take the internets advice to size down. As a true size 8, I decided, since they only come in full sizes, to stick to my guns and get the 8. So glad I did! My feet fit perfect in the foot bed with no room to spare. The arch support feels high but I think they'll be really comfortable on hikes. I'm excited to see how they work out in the wild...

My first experience with Chacos. I appreciate that these are reasonably wide, and that they have a great arch. May be the first sandals (except Birks) where my high arch doesn't catch big air. Like probably many many others, I don't appreciate that they are in whole sizes only. (I sized down being in between a 7 and 7.5 anyway.) Sometimes it takes a while to know whether something rubs, or your foot slips sideways and off the shoe. It almost did. Although I returned, this may not be my last experience with Chaco. The Z-straps are inboard from the edge of the footbed, of course. This takes about 3/8 inch off of the width. The footbed width beyond the straps is unavailable. Maybe Chacos will make a wider footbed so that there is more room inside the Z-straps. HEY CHACOS! I know manufacturers never listen to the excellent improvement opportunities in these reviews. They should! And, hey, *other* manufacturers make half-sizes! I wore them trying-on only, indoors only. I inspected, made sure they were clean even after indoors try-on only, no cooking etc., and repacked carefully, with all packing and wrapping intact. Just like people try on shoes in a shoe store -- So if anyone gets shoes that look "used", they are definitely not my carefully tried-on and carefully packed shoes!

I am a long time Chaco's fan. These sandals felt a little tight on me. It might be my feet swelling in the summer.

I ordered the 5 because it said to size down for half sizes, but this felt too tight and too short. Also, the heel strap on the pair I bought was not sown correctly so it didn't lay down flat against my heel - which may have impacted how the shoe felt. I'm returning these for a 6 in hope they are correct. I've owned Chaco's before and been pleased with them in the past.

I normally wear a 7.5 in shoes & an 8 in Hokas. After reading reviews, I opted for a 7 in these. I feel like they are the right length, but my husband thinks they are a tad too small. I think if they were bigger they’d be a tripping hazard. I have issues with my feet, and this shoe slightly bothers the top of my left foot. It’s perfect on the right, though. They were much more comfortable out of the box than I anticipated, especially since reviews talked about the necessary break-in period. I bought these for a trip to Disney World, so we’ll see how they feel after 12 hour days. I do use Still Standing foot spray at Disney to help mitigate potential foot pain.

My first time trying Chaco. The front strap is extremely loose on me. The two other straps are tight enough to keep the shoe on but I don't like the look. Sending these back.

This is a well-constructed casual-wear sandal. It's got great arch support, which is important for anyone (like me) with plantar fasciitis--and for anyone who has to walk mostly on pavement, as we NYC women do. My only complaint with this type of Chaco sandal is the palaver you go through in getting them on and off. Let's face it: If a sandal comes with instructions for putting it on and taking it off, you know that patience is important. That said, the overall quality of the shoe and its utility certainly outweigh the inconvenience. I've owned similar Chaco sandals before and can honestly say that they last well, so there's real value in the brand.

The straps are adjustable through the sole of the shoe. It takes finagling, but you can adjust the strap over the toes, over the top of the foot, and at the buckle (of course). I definitely fit my wide foot into the sandal with after I figured it out. Loosen the buckle, grab the strap anywhere it inserts into the footbed and pull.

I wear a 7.5 in Vans, for reference, and Chaco only come in when sizes. The 8 fits good but wish they made half sizes.

I like the wider straps and the cushy cloud sole, but this just did not feel secure on my feet.

These are really cute, but I really needed half sizes. With the assertive Chaco arch support, the ball of my foot was just in the wrong place.

Fit and SIze are accurate. Not much arch support. The adjustable straps hung too long once I had them fitted, so I had a shoe repair shop cut off the excess strap and trim them to look finished. Love these sandals!

I bought these because they were the only ones that were more "old school" style with no toe loop or three straps in one. The strap on these is a little wider than I would like, and the buckle a little bigger, but overall they are super comfortable. I was not a huge fan of the pattern, but my family really liked them and I am sure I will get more used to it.

Loved the idea of this sandal and it had such great reviews. I've found the medium width to be narrow for my wide toe box feet and difficult to adjust the fit correctly. Could be because I need a wide. Am going to exchange and try one more time to get the right length/width combo because it is such a great sandal.

adjusting the straps took a bit of work, but the straps are wide and super comfortable. a little on the heavy side for my feet, and the arch is actually too high for my (relatively) flat feet. as such, back to zappos they go!

This is a size review; I've not worn them yet. I wear a 9.5 in most shoes (Keen, etc.) and a 10.5 Brooks running after a professional fitting. I have a long, high arch and duck feet, which are a pain to find shoes for. Based on the reviews, I ordered a 9 and I wasn't sure the arch felt like it was hitting my in the right spot; also, my toes felt closer to the end of the shoe than I am used to. So I ordered the 10, and they felt gianormous -- I had to work hard to tighten them up enough to keep them on. The arch felt a little better, but there was way too much room past my toes. I tried the 9s on again, readjusted the straps a bunch of times, and they fit better but... I'm still not sure about the arch. They have great arches, as far as height and cushiness. I love how the crazy adjustable straps work for my feet that are higher than "normal" I think, and they are nice, soft straps! I just measured my feet, and from my big toe to my heel, I'm at 10 inches; across the widest part of my quackers I have 4 inches, and my heel is about 2.25 wide. When I do the arch test on paper, there is barely anything on the outside of my footprint. Somewhere out there is my perfect sport sandal; this is really likeable, but probably not it.

Super cute black and white sandals. So sad I had to return bc they were SO narrow. My feet aren’t usually “wide” so even though I read reviews warning about the narrowness I thought I could make it work. Heart broken I had to return these!

Overall, I really love these, but they are a little snug on the width which caused some initial discomfort while they stretched out a bit. I am also not used to wearing shoes with arch support so I had to get used to that feeling. This may sound weird, but the arch support makes it seem a little uncomfortable to just stand still in. But the cushion is great for walking. I've done one hike so far and they felt great the whole time.

I had actually bought this pair and a pair of Tevas to compare brands. These feel a bit more heavy duty, have more obvious arch support, and much softer and secure fitting straps than the Tevas. No obvious signs of rubbing or discomfort when first wearing them either vs the Tevas. So to each their own but these seem to be the best fit for me!

The strap on my right ankle was very uncomfortable. I’ve had a recent foot surgery and was hoping these would be my new go to sandals. Unfortunately the straps were in a place that made them uncomfortable for me to wear. I really really wanted these to work. But unfortunately they didn’t. Thank you for the great customer service Zappos!!
