These are great summer sandals! Very comfortable with good arch support. They're quite stylish, will go with lots of things and Chaco quality means that they will last!

I love this sandal, BUT it has stretched out pretty quickly and it only has one way to tighten up the straps. It is VERY attractive and can be dressed up if you need something dressier than a knock-around sandal.

The strap on left shoe had sharp nylon threads poking thru!

I had to return, too wide.

Ugh, really wanted to like these!! (Looking for comfortable sandals that are still somewhat stylish for an upcoming trip that will require a lot of walking around.) PROS: The fit is actually quite nice - I'm usually 7.5 in sandals/ sneakers and 8 in boots, so I ordered both 7 and 8 to be safe. 8 fit much better than the 7, so if you're on the fence or half-sized, go up to the next available size. The "tan" color looks much more neutral than the "rust" color (ordered both to compare). The style is actually pretty decent - I would feel good wearing this around in casual clothes/ sundresses. I'm not used to shoes that have designed support (shaping of arch, etc.) so it felt a bit weird at first, but I think the support is pretty good and would be ideal for lots of walking. A decent amount of platform which always helps with lower back pain too. CONS: The ankle strap is too thick for my feet and digs into the bone on the outside of my ankles. If it wasn't for this, I would've totally kept these... One more thing - the material is very easily scuffed! :( The strap where the buckle is extremely scuffed right out of the box, as well as some on the other parts of the strap and sides of the platform. I think if you get the lighter color, it will be less noticeable. Returning them, but maybe someone else will have better luck!

Wish they had fit my foot a little better because I love the color and love Chacos. The strap just hit my ankle in the wrong place.

The suede foot bed is very comfortable, the straps are soft---only the heel strap/buckle is adjustable. I'm returning because there is no cushion/give at all, very stiff/solid feeling.

I wish there were half sizes or narrow width! The size 8 was too wide and too long, the size 7 fit great but my toes were hanging off. There is about a half an inch difference in length between the two. An 8 narrow or a 7.5 would probably have been perfect for me.

The pair of Chacos I received were clearly a previous return. They were all marked on the leather and the soles were dirty! I couldn't justify keeping a pair of shoes that had been roughly used when I had paid what I consider a lot for sandals. I'm afraid to order again because I might get that same pair back.

Awesome shoe...only reason I returned is the color-Otter had a white sole. Disappointed!?

First note: The sparrow color looked grey on my screen, but they are a dusty purple in real life. On the box it says "sparrow violet" which it does not say on the website. This is fine for me, but just in case you couldn't tell from your monitor, be aware. I agree that these shoes run large (which is the whole reason I bought these for my giant feet). I usually wear a 12 and got the 11s, and even those were kind of large on me, but if I buckle them up enough it is fine. They are comfortable and I found the leather straps soft enough that they did not rub on my feet. I've worn them around a little and they are easy to walk in and don't hurt my feet. I really enjoy the look of these - a slightly dressier casual sandal. I've yet to see what happens if they get wet, but hopefully they hold up.

I normally wear a 7.5. The 8 was too large but the 7 fit just right. Very comfortable right out of the box. The foot bed is made of a very soft leather. Has a good amount of cushion and support. Will be wearing these all summer.

I love, love, love, these sandals! I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit, let alone ones that are also comfortable. Ideally, I wear a 5 or 5.5 wide, which are extremely hard to find. For this sandal, I bought the 5 medium. Most of my foot is narrow, but my bunions are extra-wide. I also have high arches and lots of foot "issues". The arch support in these sandals feel almost the same as the orthotics I wear in other shoes. The top strap on both pairs rubbed a little at first, so I cut and added a little moleskin pad to cover the spots, and they feel perfect. Thank you!

Loved, loved, loved this sandal. Have been thinking about them for quite some time. Chaco's arch does not match mine and these are very uncomfortable. I s\o wanted them to be comfortable because I love the color (suede sparrow). I also ordered in leather because I wasn't sure which color I wanted. Loved both, but the fit was not comfortable. Thank you Zappos for the easy return.

Fit is perfect and style is modern and minimal. Very cute.

Wow! I absolutely love Chaco’s! I’ve had the Z2 and honestly they’ve been sent to the Chaco Doctor a few times! This is the first pair of their leather dressy/casual sandals I’ve had and straight out of the box they fit amazingly well. I was worried about the width, they are actually very roomy. I’ve got bad plantar fasciitis so I have to be careful about that as well, which is why I wear the Z2 and generally stick with Vionics when it comes to sandals but I had to try these- highly recommend, my new favorite and I will be ordering them in multiple colors!

Love these leather Chaco Wayfarer sandals. So comfortable & cute.

LOVE these Chacos!!!! I bought these and flew to Chicago the very next day. I walked for miles with no break-in time at all, and my feet felt great. They're also fairly dressy.

When I first put them on, there was a thread or something that was scratching my ankle. After i identified and trimmed the culprit, I love them! The material is soft and supple (even gets scratched easily), the arch support is good (may not be as high as the typical Chaco sandal), the color is beautiful. I am excited about having a slightly dressier alternative to my Chaco sandals. I need the arch support for every day and I am often limited in my attire based on the sandals I have to wear.

Confirmed Chacoholic, so of course I love them! Wore them all day - no break-in, no blisters. The style is all Chaco, just a little dressed up. I wish the sole had more cushioning, which would make it thicker, like my regular Chaco’s. Also I wish I could pull the straps a little tighter, especially around my narrow heel, but the strap stayed put as is.

These sandals were comfortable right out of the box. Day 1: wore them 5 am to 11 pm - no blisters, no foot pain. And they are cute too!

They feel high quality and the fit is great. I've gotten lots of compliments since starting to wear them. Took a few wears for me to really break them in, but they are comfortable. I do find that occasionally the straps feel tight and bother the top of my foot after wearing for a long time.

This is the second pair of these Chaco wayfarers I’ve bought. I wore the first pair (same color) for two summers. The best shoe/sandal ever. The shoes were still in good shape but I’m the one that messed up the leather upper straps trying to re-color them. The new shoes are slightly darker in color to begin with and the sole and insole are black, rather than gray. Otherwise fine.
