Fit just fine. I love the color (I bought it in teal) and I think they’re comfortable. I want to use them as trainers. (Indoor circuit cardio workouts and weights)

Bought them for my 17-year old daughter. She loves them, but the first day she wore them she scuffed them. Which is fine, they were $40 cheaper than other stores.... but they really should send you a note to remind you to buy sealer when you order white shoes. Because I didn’t, and now she has a black mark on her shoe, and of course isn’t wearing them until she can clean them and seal them.
So if you buy these shoes, BUY SEALER! :-)

Very comfortable for everyday wear, but I have concerns about heavy banging during sprints.

I have to order a full size bigger in Nike shoes every time. I squeezed into 13's for years probably doing more damage then good, now i have my first pair of 14's and they arr great for working out. I would never recommend Nike Free for distance running, but a quick 5k, kikin around, or just simple lifting/cardio they are great. Priced fairly thanks to Zappos!

Been buying free rn since 2.0 edition. They always seems to get a little worse with each release. That being said, this style shoe is still the best out there imo. I always buy 1/2 size larger in nike but i think i could have fit in my normal size with this. There is a little room in the heel with these which i was concerned about blisters, but so far so good. They are very comfortable just like all the free rn line. The bottom pattern is a lil weird. I notice it sounding like i am walking on loose gravel when i am on regular asphalt, so id say they are a lil noisier than previous releases. So despite these nitpicky issues, i would def reccomend these to anyone

I already wear 1/2 size larger in my athletic shoes than I do in most dress shoes and this was on the short side with my toes nearly touching the end. I would definitely recommend ordering up 1/2 size. Very nice shoe just not for me as it has a wider profile than most. Still, it is very comfortable and stylish.

Very comfortable. Lightweight with good support. Suggest buying a 1/2 size larger than usual.

If switching from an Adidas shoe to this Nike running shoe, you will likely need to go up 2 FULL sizes.
As was the case for both of my sons. From a size 9 in Adidas (needing a 9.5) he finally found the 11.5 fit him in this Nike. And my other son went from a size 11 in Adidas to a 13 in this shoe.

Initially, my large toe on my left foot hit uncomfortably on the top of the shoe. I was going to send them back but didn't get around to it. I wore them again, and again, and my foot (or the shoe) adjusted--and now they are quite comfortable and overall a great pair of shoes. Nice support where needed but not constrictive.

This is my 2nd pair of Free Runs, the first pair was a few years ago and, to me, were to small, tight, and too much arch support. These, however, provide a wider toebox, less arch support, slightly more cushion, and excellent flexability. Whether running or just for fashion, i find these an excellent shoe. I have worn these on short speed workouts as well as longer runs up to 6 miles. Either way, these shoes worked well for me. They are light, good cushion and comfortable. I did try wearing them while walking around town without socks, and I found that did not work so well. Felt my foot was slipping around too much. But with socks, no issues. Not sure about the durability yet, only have had them 1 week, but I do see some stitching coming apart on the tongue, and the white soul gets dirty very easy. Putting them on is similar to putting on socks. The tongue is attached, which I like. I don’t tie my shoes tight (any shoe for that matter) and I notice they don’t slip around. Very comfortable shoe. Might pick up another pair.

From my 13 year old son:
They’re fine. I didn’t even know there was an arch support in there. I mean, it’s comfortable so I didn’t feel it. They’re not too tight. They’re fine.
He would be an 8.5 in Adidas or Puma (maybe even 8). He’s a 9 in Nike, particularly due to width.
He’s had this shoe before. It’s not the longest-lasting shoe he’s had, but not bad. Doesn’t stink too fast. Cleans up OK in the wash.

Great running and walking shoe. Very flexible and feels like a 2nd pair of feet on your feet (cue xhibit meme here). Only downside so far is i find the sole pattern very loud. it doesn't squeak but makes this kind of crunching sound while in motion.

Nike finally made a good Free Run! The new upper design with the built in sock bootie feels incredible with or without socks, and accommodates my wide feet. I haven’t been able to wear Free Runs of the past because of the tight uppers and toe boxes, but these fit great. The only issue I have with these is that they have an 8mm heel toe drop. That’s no where near minimal, or natural, or barefootesque, and the marketing for these is just misleading. I run and workout mainly in VFFs so the drop is noticeable, and I wish they would make a truly minimal shoe with a 4 inch drop or less. I have yet to run in these so my opinion could change, but this review is mostly for the fit and first impressions. Nike does aesthetics better than anyone though and these things look great.

It fit much tighter than my last pair which I loved. They were comfortable and fit perfectly until I wore them out. The new pair never fit correctly and didn’t have the same support even though it was the same design. I would not purchase it again.

I like the fit which is like a sock but the rounded tip of the shoes and the lace materials are a minus. Laces keep coming undone.

A design glitch in that the sole picks up every stone you walk on , the pattern loves to grab anything on the road

I wish I returned these when they first arrived. I did not get the memo to order half a size up. These Nike FR shoes fit too snug and seem narrow. I was attracted to the all black shoes and how lightweight they are. Too bad they don’t fit me.

I used older version of free rn and had about 300 miles in them. They lasted long and were my favorite. Then I switch to Pegasus for about 3 years. I bought Nike Free RN 2018 when I was looking for new shoes recently. Unfortunately 2018 version don't seem to be as good as old ones that I used to run in. Even though the shoes were light and felt great while walking, during the runs the footing felt awkward due to the sole design at the heel. Overall I think the shoes are decent but not were not for me.
