Super tight on upper part of the foot, can't fit my feet in them.

Was terribly difficult getting my foot into the shoe. Once it was in, it was clear the shoe was the right size, so I know sizing wasn't the issue. But the hole to get my foot in was not very "slip" on but very "shove in there with serious effort using both hands" on. I think the back edge of the shoe where it meets the heel needs more give, as does the elastic on the tongue.

I bought these in my usual size: 8.5W This has to be the narrowest "wide" shoe I've ever seen. I can barely fit into them at all. It's really a stretch to call them a slip on. More of a squeeze into. I would guess that their 8.5W is equivalent to most manufacturers 8 or 8N.

They are quite comfortable. They have a wider and slightly more rounded foot bed than the Seavees Hawthorne. They are not easy to clean though and that's making me decide to just move away from canvas sneakers.

These shoes look good but are not very comfortable and offer no arch support.

Great looking casual shoe, but it was a full size too small. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available in a 14. Had to return.

Big caveat for anyone who likes to wear their slip-ons without socks: the backs on these are really high for slip-ons and they ripped the heck out of my bare heels the first time I wore them. Pity, because they look great. Also, the mega-arched insole is an acquired taste.

Beware. The heal is very flexible so you can't slip these on without using your hand as you will crush the heal with your foot.

The size EE is a farce. I have a 10.5 EE foot and ordered the 11 EE in the Sperry and I could not ever get my foot half way into this shoe. It is extremely narrow.

I loved these shoes the second I put my feet in them! They're so comfortable and easy to slip on. They were my go-to shoes at the beginning of the summer. But after a couple months, the lining on one of the shoes started peeling off and bunching up. I tried to glue it back down, but it still bunches up. Now I'm looking for replacements because the lining bunching up is so annoying.

I have worn Sperry Topsiders for many many years and have been completely satisfied with the product. That was my reason for deciding to continue with the Sperry brand. Unfortunately, I have found that the quality of my recent purchase is not up to the standard to which I have been accustom. While I still like the shoes, I am disappointed in several respects: 1. The color of my "Navy" shoes has already begun to fade beyond that of similar Topsiders that I have pretty much worn out. 2 The material around the heal entrance to the shoe make it extremely difficult to get the shoes on. Once on, they feel great and seem to perform well on my semi wet lawn.

I have trouble getting my foot into the shoe! even though I always order size 7 1/2 M but these sneakers seem to run small. I have to use a shoe horn and still it's hard to get on. Do they stretch with time? Once I get them on they seem comfortable. Do you have any suggestions to make it easier to fit my feet?

I love these shoes, however I have purchased 2 pairs in the last two years and they have both failed at the toe on the top side of the canvas. Same location on both pairs. I'm reluctant to buy another pair.

Not comfortable - looks good but too flat for walking around if you have an arch. It's really just a slipper replacement for something to put on your feet temporarily. I just use it to change from my cycling shoes before and after a ride when I know I'm headed home. But I would not wear it if I had to wear it all day with an ensemble. I can imagine it would work well also as a beach shoe or just for hanging around.

For many years, this was my summer shoe: easy to slip on, comfortable and washable. I wore them until they wore out; then i would quickly replace them. I don't know when, but some time ago, either Sperry changed the design substantially or my feet grew . Now I need a shoe horn to squeeze into them. This will be my last pair of Sperry's.

Used to love Sperry, but I've had to return the last few pairs I've ordered. Hate to use a cliche, but they just don't make them like they used to. I've loved Stripers in the past, both laced and laceless, because they are my pair of casual shoes I can just slip my feet into in a couple of seconds and go. No socks, no sitting down to tie them--just walk over to where they are on the floor and slip my feet in. Used to take no time at all. But now the heel has absolutely no structure, so when I try that, the heel just crumples up under my foot and my foot doesn't go in. Even slipping a finger in doesn't help because then, I can't get the heel in--as if the shoes are too small. Tried 3 pairs and they're all the same. My old pair of the same size still fits perfectly, but these seem just a hair smaller, tighter when I get them on. I don't want to have to use a shoehorn to put on my "slip-on" shoes--it defeats the purpose of having a pair like this. And a larger size would be a little to long and still wouldn't allow me to slip them on because of the lack of any stiffness, structure in the heel. I tried the Halyard and their heels are the oposite--so still and unyielding that they almost peel the skin off my heel when I try to put them in--like dress shoes. Very disappointed because I've had several pairs of Stripers and always loved them, but if I can't slip in and out of them effortlessly I might as well just put on my regular sneakers and lace them up.

My feet are swimming in these. I have other Sperry's that fit perfect but my feet are swimming in these. How do I exchange for a smaller size.

In contrast to other Sperry shoes that I have, the size and fit were odd - a bit on the large side. The upper material was very thin, stiff and cheap looking. The styling was off too - very boxy - it almost appeared like there was a manufacturing defect. These shoes were a hard “no” and went right back into the box for return. A disappointing effort from Sperry.

The fit was a joke. Way, way too narrow by a good inch and then some across the bottom of the sole. They might have been a length fit, but since he was unable to fit his foot in any farther than about 2 inches, we'll never know for certain.

These shoes were awful. Walked right out of them, causing stumble, but thankfully caught myself without injury. They were worn outside once because I could not really believe they were that big until I got out and walked in them. I know you do not generally refund shoes worn outside, but I at least need store credit for these.

The color is far from white. It has a tinge of yellow. Great shoe, just not white.
