Great quality- finger pull-on loop could be a little bigger

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. They do run true to size (he has other bog boots) and he says they are comfortable. They are warm and look nice under a pair of jeans, so he can get away with wearing them for work. The only reason I knocked off a star is the pull-tab ripped off after a few months of wearing them. However, Bogs customer service was incredibly fast and efficient in responding to me and have refunded me for the original cost. I love to see great customer service and will continue to be a customer, we love their footwear!

These are solid boots. The only downside is the pull tabs are garbage. Way too small and ripped after a week of use. I took them to my local boot repair joint and had some real pull tabs sewed on. No issues since. Bummed I had to shell out and additional $25 to make these work but happy with the end result.

Comfortable, waterproof but needs to come with a shoehorn! Tight opening for my old foot. I got an 11 and wear an 11.5 sneaker and hiking boots. They have enough room and don't flop around.

Overall I will say this boot is ok. Its insulated which I like and what I was looking for. Waterproof also. The only issue I would say is that the boot is a bit hard to put on. I have two other pairs of Bogs that I can just step into, which I like. This one is a bit more work. Once on, its great, but getting there is a bit of a chore.

The Sauvie's are great for wet, icy and low snow conditions around our house and on the walk to work. They're very comfortable, keep moisture out and warmth in. The only issue I have is the heel tab, intended to help pull the boot on, is pretty worthless. It's too small to fit even a finger inside the loop. You can't just slip your foot inside and need a pull tab/loop. I tied a loop of paracord to the tab to help with this. My fix is working well so far, I'm just not sure how long before the existing tab tears. ATTENTION BOGS, please enhance the pull tab to help improve this boot.

Bouugt these boots in December 2021...haven't worn them much. Have notced that the lining is coming away from the boot. So disappointed. Of course they are still under their one year guarantee if you bring them back to where you bought them from with your receipt Honestly, who keeps a receipt for boots or shoes that they have bought. Contacted my bank and have printed off my transaction of where and when I bought them from. Not feeling very positive about anything being done about this problem. Again, sooo disappointed...I reallly like these boots!

I do flood irrigation and got some late season rut hunters. While trying to get my 4th under warranty replacement pair due to pinhole leaks, that just can't happen in my line of work, I decided to go for an around the garden, everyday normal size boots because I do like the convenience of waterproofness and comfort. After about a week of wearing these sauvies they are ok. I love certain Blundstone boots and see these sauvies as ideally trying to more closely imitate the blundstones ( but blundstones aren't as waterproof unless near new). Sauvies slip on nice and fit pretty well. I think the foot floor is a little thin as I feel rocks through them to medium extent. I think the ankle tube needs to match blundstone height because just a tad more and they would really prevent water getting in the top. To kick off the boots the tabs on the back need to be a bit more pronounced/ bigger/grippier; they are too small and rounded to be very effective. The boot is essentially a rubber outer with pretty moderate traction, built around a neoprene-like bootie, and for foot sole comfort an inner foot pad/liner with a specialized plastic rib underneath for foot bending stabilization (which like I said, ideally would be a little thicker to avoid foot fatigue from feeling too many rocks when hiking). Already on mine the rubber outer above my ankle has pulled away from the bootie about an inch; not a big deal in a low priority spot, but after four days I'm surprised. Overall Bogs comfort is keeping me around for now, but there is something going on in the construction/material department. The flies seem to be failing quite easy at seem-like areas ( I say seem-like because I like to buy the "seamless" models for increased chance of bulletproofness, but the pinhole leaks and glue failing is happening in those areas. Fingers crossed for the company to listen and improve. With irrigation I didn't even use them except for 12+ hours for 2 days every 10 days during 6 months.

Shoes fit good, alittle tight getting them on. But once on fit real good. Would be nice if the heel had a bump out so that it was easier to get off.

This Sauvie boot is really comfortable. Nice cushy insole with a great outsole that is full width and flat for the most part lending itself to great stability. That being said, I need a long shoe horn to get them on, and a boot puller to get them off. I have tried the Muckster from Muck Boot Company, and although easier to get on and off, they don't provide the lateral stability you get with the Bogs Sauvie. I have had them for a few weeks, and they are already a bit easier on and off, but still not a slip on. If you are just going out to get the mail, could be more pain than it's worth, but if you are staying in them for a while they are worth the extra effort in putting them on and taking them off. A really nice boot. Would recommend to anyone after comfort in their sloppy weather boots.

Nice boot, but tough to put on - would not say they are a "slip on" as need to use the pull/loop tab at back of shoe to get on and it can be somewhat of a chore.

I really like these and wear them every day through rain and snow. I like the convenience of slip on. This is my second pair because after a year the old pair are starting in to crack a little and I wanted to have a new pair ready. I was a little disappointed that the first pair are worn so quickly, but I really have worn them a LOT. I was slightly surprised how much more snug the new ones are because my first pair are quite stretched now.

This pair of Bogs are my second pair. My first pair have been part of my shoe rotation for years with not one complaint. Easy on easy off weather proof supportive footwear. I have one complaint about my new pair. The pull tab that helps you pull them on is too small. Can't get a finger through to pull the boot on. Other than that minor detail, fantastic!

Keep my feet dry. The insoles were damaged but they sent a replacement pair without any problems. The one complaint I have is they are hard to get on and off. The little loop at the back of the boot needs to be bigger so you can actually get a finger in it to help pull the boots on.

I go from an 8.5 to a 9 depending on the shoe. I would probably be an 8.5 in these if they came in that size. Most rubber boots don't come in half sizes so you just have to make it work with thick socks. These have been my go-to cold-weather dog walkers for two years. I've also done relatively long walks of several kilometers on muddy trails in these. They aren't hiking boots of course, and they lack the necessary support for difficult terrain but found the footbed comfy for countryside strolls. Like others have said, they crack. My first pair lasted two years before giving up. I couldn't find another neoprene-lined low mud boot that looked decent, without doubling the price, so ordered another pair. Something to consider -- my first pair cracked right where the black toe meets the rest of the upper. My new pair does not have a black toe. It's all a single piece of green rubber. Note the difference in the photo. I don't know if this is a redesign to address cracking or not, but there may be reasons to avoid the older black-toed design.

great boot......I wear a 13.5 but got a 14 for safety and was a little nervous with first wear as it was snug. The footbed softened and the collar relaxed a little for easier entry. Need a bigger heel loop for putting them on (can barely get my finger through it). Super comfy and getting better everyday.

Great boots but they do run big. My husband wears a 13 in just about everything, but he needed a 12 in these.

I was going for a waterproof boot that was supportive and easy to clean, nothing too fancy. While this is such a boot, I find the shape of the sole to be strange. The insole has a highly raised heel and when I take it out to put in my orthotic inserts, it feels like the heel is lower than the toe. Still usable, but not great.
