I just placed an order for my third/color pair of this shoe. I have had three surgeries on my feet, which once were narrow but now are nearly a size "wide", but not fully. I refuse to abandon style despite this, but my feet always hurt, even when I'm not standing. These shoes soothe my feet in a mystical way. I can stand for hours, and the shoes look great. For me, the straps are perfect and elongate the appearance of my leg. I'm between 10.5 and 11 in most shoes. In this the 11 is a great fit, but roomy, which my doctor directs. They stay snug when walking thanks to the straps. They are very good quality. I couldn't be happier.

Had to return these. The pluses are: Light as air. Soft flexible sole. Good arch support.
Negatives -- which may be personal, but Taryn Rose shoes for me have always been just that odd 1/2 size too wide but length is fine. I don't have narrow feet so it's odd how wide their shoes.
Another Negative which is the main reason I have to return these is that the straps are way too high up. They're funny looking, yet their placement offers no real hold to help the shoes stay on your feet when you walk.

Very comfortable insoles. However my toes were crushed in the toe box and the heel was too wide. Additionally, I don't fee the strap was enough to keep the show on. Poor design.

Beautiful, Soft Leather, Too Much Drop
Pros: light as air, softest imaginable leather, beautiful shape, elegant-looking straps. I have the black Daniel Nappa with a matte black sole which means no one can tell this is a spongy, super cushy running shoe sole -- softer and more cushioned than my cushiest running shoes.
Cons: the drop from the heel to the toe is so steep that my foot slides all the way to the front which means I feel no arch support because my arch is too far forward of the arch in the shoe, the steep drop also means my toes are crammed into the pointiest part of the toe.
Advice to designers: lower the drop a few mm and these will be my go-to shoe.
