Loved these boots, except they were too narrow. Had to return.

I had read the reviews, had even tried on the low shoe in this style in the past, so I knew they were narrow. I have a wide foot and even though I can wear a 6.5 I usually buy 7. In this case I ordered an 8, knowing I will wear an arch support and decent sock. It feels a little loose, but I am still happy for garden shoes. They are adorable.

After reading multiple reviews stating the Sweetpea runs narrow I decided to order the rain boots. To my disappointment, the Sweetpea does not in any way run narrow. It's a great rain boot but like all others does not come in narrow widths or half sizes.

I have had these for just over a week and have worn them a few times. Have received multiple compliments (I bought the red ones). One woman stopped me in the street and asked me about them. I intentionally ordered 1/2 size than my typical size so I could use socks to make these useable on moderately cold days and it’s worked out perfectly. My only wish is that there was a little more heel and some arch support but I still love them.

These were not what I expected (my fault) but I kept them because I loved them. They are basically a rain/mud boot and not a cute “wear to church or job” boot. Definitely waterproof but heavy after several hours of wearing. A little hard to get on until you figure it out. Zero arch support so my feet got tired. I will use them in the yard this spring and even this winter they are quick to grab and go if there is snow or puddles. For me, not an all day boot but they serve a purpose.

Fits well, but I don't have a wide foot or any other issues. I like the style - nice looking and not bulky. Only concern is that the faux shearling lining is very thin and flimsy. Pieces of it pull out every time I put the boots on and it doesn't offer much cushion. I would have gladly paid more for a higher quality fleece lining.

The boot itself fits great on my foot. However, the shaft at the ankle is snug and uncomfortable. I still wear them and like them. I just wish it was a little wider. Otherwise, they’re comfortable foot support all day wear. I’m a teacher so I’m standing most of the day.

Adorable boots, I love the style and they are fairly comfortable, but they really seem designed for a narrow foot. My feet are on the wider side, or at least they are definitely not narrow, so maybe they are for a normal width foot and mine is wider than average, I don't know for sure. I would ideally wear a 9.5 or a 10 in tighter fitting and formal shoes these days, but I felt like the 10 was too snug, especially with socks and the sole or footbed felt really narrow, like I could feel the edges of it under my foot. It wasn't painful, just didn't feel like it sat right. I've ordered the size 11s and am keeping those because I like more than I don't like about them, but the 11 is longer, on the edge of too roomy for me, but only marginally wider. It's not too tight but still feels on the narrow side, only longer. Having the length be slightly too long means that there is more space around the ankle, so rain can theoretically get in there if it's pouring and you don't have an umbrella, which kind of defeats the purpose of the boots. I think they're good for a wet day in the city, probably not for super muddy outdoor conditions unless they fit you perfectly and you have rain pants covering the opening. The padding inside is nice and squishy. Not sure if they are built to last as much as other boots in the Bog brand, I hope they are, but we'll see. The little loop for pulling them on doesn't seem super sturdily attached as one came off the second time I tried on the boots, however, maybe it had already been loosened and I managed to get it back in there. The loops seem more decorative than functional. Still, with socks and on a drizzly day, these seem good for regular use around town and they are both functional for rain while looking nice enough for work (if your workplace isn't super formal).

Truth be told, these boots seem a bit bigger than I'd expected. I'm going to need thick socks, no that this is a bad thing. These boots have already had their first outing in the garden and I am quite pleased with them. They are relatively easy to pull on, which is important for me as I have a fused back and bending is a challenge. I don't have to worry about them sliding off or dirt getting into the footbed. I will say that the binding around the elastic gusset is non-exsistent on my boots, so they are not entirely as advertized, but I will keep them as they make working in the garden safer for me, and my feet stay cleaner.

Love Bogs and always wear a size 6. But these are slender looking for a Bog. The narrowness of the boot looks good, but I will have to size up for comfort. Hope a 7 fits because they do not come in half sizes.
