This is a cute, comfortable shoe. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, and got this in an 8. I appreciate the adjustablilty, though, remarkably, the tightest hole of the ankle strap is still a little loose. But not so loose that the shoe doesn't stay on my foot, so I am keeping it. With plantar fasciitis and a Morton's neuroma, I need to choose shoes that allow me to walk around as pain-free as possible, and these are winners. So glad they offered it in a cork style. Can't wait for the snakeskin craze to end!

I have terrible foot problems but the Vionic sandals have such amazing arch support my feet don’t hurt at all. The faux snake skin is a little cheesy looking, but what can you do. Be aware, these do run large. I wear a 10 in every other shoe and I had to get these in a 9.

I don't normally purchase sandals without a heel strap. (The crunching of toes to keep the sandal on the foot, contributes to plantar fasciitis.) The adjustable buckle strap across the instep of the Rio prevents the feeling of loosing sandal. There is ample arch support and the additional thickness of the sole adds to the comfort of the sandal. This sandal makes both a great house slipper as well as a 'go with anything sandal'. I have a feeling that I will be living in the sandal this summer.

I ordered seven pair of shoes in a desperate attempt to relieve a mystery foot pain I’ve developed over the last several months and, of all of them, these feel the best. I’m not sure they look all that stylish. I wish the plastic platforms were disguised with something more organic looking to go with the cork straps but my feet don’t hurt so - mission accomplished!

As others have noted, these provide great support for pronated feet, they feel very stable and they stay put without a heel strap. As others have also noted, it would be great if plain leather straps were offered instead of the weird and garish snakeskin, etc., but I ignore that and wear them for the fit.

Uh Oh! I hope this pair of Vionics is not typical of all new Vionics. As soon as I opened the Zappos box, the smell of cheap rubber or plastic was evident. When I took the sandals out of the plastic the smell was overwhelming! I was willing to air them out if they fit, but unfortunately the diagonal strap hit my bunion and hurt. I would not recommend these sandals and hope that Vionics does something about the rubber/plastic smell. I love my other Vionics!

Vionic sure makes cute sandal styles, and I was nuts about this one. But I just can't take the extremely firm arch feeling they all have. The whole sandal is too firm and not flexible. I'm supposed to wear serious arch brands like this, but I'm sticking with Keen and Teva and Oboz.

Wear an 8 but a 7 in Vionic’s. Wanted to love these shoes, cork was pretty but gold was too gold and the flesh,yellow,beige heel was a deal breaker! Why could they not be a rich brown with a brown heel. Sadly going back.

These are my first pair of vionics. I purchased for arch support as I am on my feet teaching all day. I thought they were cute and would go with just about everything in my closet.

I love these shoes! The arch support is awesome and they are adjustable in the width so they are perfect!

I really wanted to keep these sandals. In June I had reconstructive foot surgery, and I still have a lot of swelling when I am on my feet. Unfortunately, even with three straps, the shoe is too tight. I can adjust two of the straps, but then the velcro shows. Cute shoe, too bad I can't keep it!

i had been wanting that beautiful gold cork with a platform type heel ever since I had purchased 2 flat sandals. I had gotten many compliments on them both. This shoe is truly fab! So comfortable and beautiful. I forget I have on any shoes. The Vionic brand has saved my life with a neuroma in each foot. Thank you Vionic for providing style along with comfort and thank you Zappos for carrying this brand of shoe. I try to give them all a chance. I find some fit my foot better than others. I assure you this is the only shoe I wear unless it has a Vionic insert in it! KEEP UP THE CLEVER DESIGNING!! Maybe a jute like wedge would be lovely!!!

I really wanted to keep these sandals because I think cork sandals goes with everything. I felt these sandals were a little clunky and I needed a pair of cork sandals to wear with a slightly dressier outfit. I tried 2 sizes but they still looked clunky so I had to return both pairs.

These are adorable but the arch is way too high! I wish I could keep them but they are too uncomfortable.

GREAT SHOE

Super comfy right out of the box. As with all Vionic shoes, great arch support. The adjustable straps make custom adjustments a breeze, and the shoes feel very secure in my feet. The gold cork is very attractive, but I wish this style came in more colors—I would buy more!

This is an amazing little slide. It's like a dressier and more supportive Birkenstock. I got the cork and it goes with everything. Love to put these shoes on. I have a very narrow foot and the fit me well- I am thrilled. I have very flat feet, but plantar f., so I had to break them in because I am not used to the arch support, but I desperately need it.

Awesome arch support. If you’re not familiar with Vionic shoes, give yourself some time to adjust to the arch support.

Love these sandals. Just wore them for 4 hours (out of the box) in the mall and my feet, while somewhat tired, did pretty well!

I wear an 8-1/2 so I bought a size 9 & am perfeclty happy with the fit. I bought the Red color & love it. Get support!!

Have a narrow foot, and all of my past Vionics have needed me to cut short some of the straps and use matching duct tape to make a strap right for a narrow foot on sandals. So so happy to find that I do not need to do this with this shoe! The straps could be a LITTLE more narrow-foot friendly, but will not be needing to get out the scissors and tape for this one! Also, best arch support of all the different Vionics sandals I have lately tried! Bought 2 pair!

Vionic sandals are usually too wide/loose for me because I have a narrow foot. This sandal caught my eye because the three straps are adjustable. I bought this sandal in the Gold Cork and I love it because you can wear this color with everything. The wedge gives me a little height, and the color of the show is gorgeous. I have received several compliments on this sandal! After I send this review, I'm going to order the sandal in Black! I just "re-sold" myself on this sandal!??

i feel the shoe is a perfect fit and true to size. The color is a great neutral and goes with all solid colors. I put this shoe on and wore it for the next 4 hours and never even thought of my feet once. Soooo very comfortable! Can very easily be worn with a dress or skirt, jeans or slacks. I recommend to anyone who wants to be comfortable and look stylish!
