The heel won't stand up to a lot of walking on side walks. Maybe better for indoors only.

A great shoe that has quality and style like the old model it replaced. My only criticism is that the arch support is lacking in comparison to the older model (one I bought and wore out a couple of decades ago), Well worth the price.

Great shoe, works great in a canoe too. Will definitely order again.

I've worn topsides as my casual shoe for many years, wouldn't use anything else. This shoe is great, will always look good. There is never a worry with Sperry

These are great shoes that last a long time. My husband has had a pair for so long that we had to buy new leather laces! The amaretto color looks great with a lot. So durable and comfortable

I am a regular Sperry customer and love these shoes. They are comfortable and stylish, and generally hold up well over time. However, I have consistently had issues with the stitching coming undone on the left side of the left shoe (see attached image). This has happened for the past 2 of 3 pairs of Mako boat shoes I have purchased, which is concerning.

well made shoe with quality leather. Not as flexible as the original boat shoe.

This was my second pair of Makos. As with the first the uppers lasted really well. They look almost brand new. The soles are a problem. The heels wore down quickly and they pulled apart form the uppers.

I have I have had two pairs of this shoe and it has been satisfactory to a point. Long before the upper wEars out, the soLe splits and the shoe leaks whenever it sees water. An upgrade To a more durable sole is needed.

I was gifted a pair of Sperries the month before my parents shipped me off to boarding school. Don't know exactly what the make was called back then. I wore those shoes every summer for ten years. They never failed me once. Finally, after a literal decade of love and care, the interior became too worn to make it another year. They were perfect - and I wanted to replace them with the exact same pair. The Mako 2-eye Canoe Moc is almost almost identical. Perfect successor, and I look forward to another ten years with these bad boys.

I find almost all shoes are tending to be wider. If I had purchased size 10 1/2 they would be even wider.

The thick sole of this shoe last a long time and make the shoe wear well. I love the color. I purchased it for a male in the family and they came in, he was in the room and wanted them then. Early Holiday Gift! Great product and great price!

I was disappointed by the color of the shoes which is more of a chocolate than an ammeretto. I also didn't like the color of the stitching with the leather, but overall a good shoe.

As previously stated the on line picture is misleading and doesn't show light colored front tongue and heel .You can not put inserts into this shoe as the front half is built in while back half glued.

As soon as the heel end of the shoe loosens up they will be great, but for now they are rubbing a blister on my heel. Nice looking -look very sturdy. Not as comfortable as my Topsiders (yet), but a better and more supportive sole.

Picked this style because the sole offers more support than some models, and the outside can be polished. Hoping they last several years, since Sperry is more pricey than other options. Replaced a competitor brand shoe that wore out too soon, due to the inner fabric liner. These have leather for inner liner around the heal.

The shoe fits and looks good. It seems to be lacking some of the quality that I was used to in Sperry products. There is very little padding between the ball of your foot and the sole of the shoe. It gives me the feeling that I am almost walking bare foot. I was very disappointed to find made in China stamped in the shoe.

Prefer this shoe over the A/O. Better fit, more comfortable, better support with an improved sole.

great shoe except for the insole liner. Too bad what peels and curls up also lines the bottom of your sole. I have called and complained when I bought my first pair as it did the same thing three years ago. This will be the last time, too bad
