So I LOVE Frye shoes and boots. They are a slight obsession of mine. I decided to splurge and buy myself these cute mules. I chose them in black. When they arrived, they were no doubt an attractive shoe, but I didn’t love them. There wasn’t anything extraordinary about them. I’m not sure if it’s because they were all in black, and you couldn’t see the expensive wood details, or what, but they didn’t look worth the $300. I tried them on, and I didn’t get the usual happy feeling I get with new Frye’s. I couldn’t justify the price tag, so I returned them. I ordered another pair of Frye mules (the Campus Joan in mustard), and they were perfect so I kept them instead.

Beautiful shoe that is so versatile. The only concern I had was the showing of scuffs marks on the gorgeous leather, but I think over time this will just blend in with the shoe. These are very comfortable, true to size, and offer the style to be worn at work or casual.

I wear a size 6-6.5 and took a 6. Fit was perfect. These shoes are super comfortable and very stylish. I originally spotted them in a boutique in park city at double the price. Got them on Zappos for a steal! Great with skinny jeans or wide leg. The color is distressed which makes them wearable with so many things. Love these mules!

Really love these Frye mules. Great heel height, very comfortable so far. Looks great with bootcut jeans. Highly recommend.

Well, it took 2 different styles and returns to Zappos before I purchased the Fryes that i truly wanted. Had to wrap my head around the price. But trust me, you get what you pay for with these. Lovely, wonderful quality and great comfort. May have to get the brown too!

I was really excited to get my first pair of Frye shoes. These are very heavy & clunky shoes. I like the way they look, but the heel is too big & heavy. I've worn them several times hoping they would be break in or something, but I really am not happy. Can't send them back now because I've worn them too many times. Not worth the cost.

I am always a size 9 medium these feel about a 1/2 size small, also they do not feel like $300 shoes, leather was thin and almost flimsy, I am returning and will replace with an inexpensive of mules
