Bought a few days ago, first time wearing them and they were SUPER comfortable. The leather is really nice and the back doesn't rub against your heal (a problem that I have had in the past with Frye). They run a smidge big, I recommend getting a half size down.

I bought these about a month ago and absolutely love them! Every time I wear them people comment on them. My only issue was breaking them in, they were quite painful for the first week or so, but well worth it.

I was so excited when these boots came out and finally pulled the trigger about a month and a half ago. I've worn them maybe about ten times at the most and just noticed the black coloring on the soles of the boots is already coming off. The coloring around the toe box until about the beginning of the instep is now an off-white color and is beginning to flake and fray. It appears the wood material around the rubber soles is of really poor quality and is easily distressed. I'm disappointed that this happened so quickly on rather expensive boots. My other pair of Frye boots has held up extremely well- I hope this was just a one-off and Frye gets back on their A game!

This pair of shoes is pretty in person and online, but it is too narrow. I normally wear a 7M (us size) / 37 (euro size). It's narrower than the heels I buy in other brands and certainly narrower than Nike sneakers. Going half a size up to 7.5 makes the shoe less narrow (still feels narrower than normal shoes), but longer and fit poorly. I'm very cautious of what narrow shoes can do to my feet in the long run, so I had to go to a cobbler to have it stretched in the toe box area. That said, I decided it's pretty enough for me to keep and pay a cobbler to make it work instead of returning it. Good part: The leather is not stiff, but certainly not as soft as lambskin leggings. It holds its shape but still seems to stretch a little bit. The buckle doesn't look cheap. The shoe does crease a bit as I walk and move my feet.
