Attractive Shoe and comfortable except the straps across the top are stiff and feel like they would tear up the skin on my foot in one place. I have a narrow foot and am concerned the straps would stretch and then they would be slipping off, since there is not retaining strap not he back. I sent them back

Some straps defective - too loose- so just exchange for another better pair.

I have two pairs of these sandals. I have had broken bones in my feet on two occasions so I’m very careful about my sandals. At the same time I don’t want to feel frumpy. These sandals are cute and comfortable while supporting my feet.

One strap a bit snug but loosened over time. Cute and comfy little slip on.

The blue is very pretty and the strap design stylish. A tiny bit narrow for a medium to wide foot. Not as cushy as Teva but love Merrell too. Size 8 is always consistent. I use this as a supportive house shoe.

The fit and size is great, I am a little disappointed that they have rubbed my feet raw in a few spots, as my other Merrill's that these replaced did not, but over all they look good, stay on, dont make a flip flop noise and are again for the most part comfy, just need to wear in a few spots

These slip off my feet justa little too easily. I wish these came in half sizes! But it is very comfy. And at first I thought it was cute with shorts for summer but now I'm wondering if they just make me look like Peppermint Patty.

Cute style. these felt narrow. I do not have a wide foot either.

I ordered two different brands of strappy sandals, and both have their issues... the other pair I have to return... and these Merrells, I will keep with reservations. All the other reviews you have read about the straps feeling plasticky are accurate. For reasons that boggle the mind (durability, maybe?), Merrell lined the leather straps with vinyl. They should've taken a page from the Born playbook and left them raw or lined them with a supple leather. I have a wide foot, so these fit, but snugly. Someone with a regular-width foot might find these more comfortable. As they are (for me), they're comfortable enough to wear out to an event that doesn't require a ton of walking. I'm hoping that despite the vinyl lining, they will stretch out a little, because they really are cute.

I didn't realize how little support this shoe needed. It is flat! Were I younger and had not lost a lot of my fat cushioning in my foot, I'd have liked it.

I bought these sandals to duplicate a pair I bought years ago that looked like these. I wore them for years until they fell apart & the sole was slick. These sandals look cute. But the uppers do not look or feel like leather. The straps are really thin and flimsy. The straps are also sort of hard and crisp like plastic. It's hard to think they're even leather. So I'm returning them.

It looks better in the photos. Looks cheap and not well constructed.

Again, I was disappointed with the sole of the shoe. Not what you expect when you order a Merrill shoe. Feels more like plastic than an actual rubber sole sandal. Or even fake rubber. Just very disappointed in Merrill.

Comfortable footbed, but I was put off by the low-quality of the leather craftsmanship, and was quite surprised that a well-known brand like Merrell would put their name on this sandal. Not to mention the felt-like slippery bottom. Impossible to walk on hard surfaces!

I had been buying Merrell sandals for years, but now they are so cheaply made. Love this style and they felt comfortable, but they are so lightweight, not the footbed I'm used to. Perhaps they are made of cardboard. They don't hold a candle to the Merrells of old. I'd be willing to spend double the money for better quality shoes. I wear sandals year-round and these won't hold up. Same with the slides that I used to buy. Skimpy soles. Now I'm buying Dansko. When will Merrell wake up? You are losing customers!

Really poor quality. I'm so surprised since these are Merrell. They fit ok but felt like they would no support my foot if I had to walk at any sort of a fast pace. There was no squishy comfort in the sole. The straps didn't cut into my foot but did seem to do much to hold the sandal on my foot either. The leather is junk. I typically wear a 7.5 and these are another frustrating whole size only option so I went with an 8. The fit was fine, from what I could tell. It sort of felt like I was trying to walk in a toy shoe.

I love Merrells's. I have been wearing them for years. These were the worst sandals I have ever bought from them.They felt very cheap and the soles were so slippery I am afraid to walk in them on carpet or tile floors. I am returning them for something with better traction.

I was so disappointed in the quality of the sandal. I have another pair of sandals that fit well and feel great. The leather is scratchy and feels really thin.

I have another pair of Merrell and they fit right out of the box..these one shoe fit tighter than the other and ,my feet slide toward the inside sole causing my heel to hang off when i walk..loved the color and style but poor fit...Not worth the 70 bucks!

This shoe is way too wide. I have many Merrell size is 11 slides but this is like a wide width.

The straps are so firm they just cut into my feet. Had to return them.

WAAAAAAY wider than I could ever wear. Really sad. Used to wear Merrill all the time.
