I was impressed with how comfortable this shoe was right out of the box. For a trail shoe, I wasn't impressed with the durability. After a week of mild use the sole split/ripped in the toe of one shoe. I decided to return them even though the shoes were still usable, rather than wait and risk having them fall apart.

I owned an older version of these and used them till the sole was flat (I still use them in fact). When I tried to get a new pair, I didn't like any of the designs, so I tried switching to a pair of NB Minimus. They look nice, but I got injured several times after running in them so something about them was just not working out. Excited to be back in these. I like that they are a ice understated design with a little hint of color. When I travel I can use them for runs/workouts as well as for walking around town when I don't want to be in dress shoes.

Snazzy lookin' and, more importantly, incredibly comfortable from the moment I put them on. Ready to go run a mountain trail in these babies and I'm not even a runner. Feeling light-footed. Only complaint is that the synthetic material feels kind of sweaty, despite whatever claims they make about wicking away moisture. If they made these with natural materials I'd never take them off.

Best trail glove yet. Very nice fit and great feel.

These shoes fit like a glove. They’re virtually weightless on your feet. They have just enough arch support and sole to protect your feet while giving you the barefoot feel.

This shoe felt good almost from the moment I put it on. I believe that one's feet do need time to adapt to a barefoot shoe and I've used a pair of the Trail Glove 4 as my every day shoe for a year now. Even though the construction of these looks the same as the Trail Glove 4, I find the Trail Glove 4 E-mesh to be slightly more comfortable. My feet are especially wide and normally a medium wouldn't work, but I can adjust the fit with lacing. My only complaint is that it comes in just 2 colors and the saffron is too garish for me.

They feel like part of my feet! And at the same time: protective. They strike a good balance. The black with red highlights is nice and subtle but the red sole looks a little janky to me. Still, my favorite minimal running shoe at the moment and fine as a casual shoe too!

I really wanted to like this shoe, it was comfortable and fit like a glove. What I really didn't like was the sole was almost non existent under the arch which left no support at all at the arch. I realized these are supposed to be minimalist/barefoot shoes but they just felt unsteady.
