I have difficult neeeds in a shoe. They need to be as flat heel to toe as possible but still have cushion and I have very wide feet with some bunions. It's next to impossible to find shoes that match this criteria. These babies totally hit the mark. And most amazingly they were comfortable immediately. That never happens. They fit like a sock and because of how the laces are attached you can loosen them just when you need them in that specific area. Brilliant. I'm going to order a second pair just to have when these wear out.

I didn't know if they would fit or how they would look on me. What a surprise! I love them, The color is water green/blue and goes with everything sporty you can think of to wear. But the most important thing is that they are "NOW" and really really comfortable. Thank you Merrell.

These are great, comfortable shoes. I was unsure about the barefoot aspect, as I'm usually uncomfortable when wearing shoes without socks. Not an issue with these. I don't feel that my feet get sweaty and stick to the sides. If you're looking for a highly structured, firm, shoe, this one is probably not for you. I got it for weight lifting, and just 'going about my day' summer shoe. Works well for both!

Very comfortable from the first time worn. I like the color and the style- I got blue depths. I'm glad I ordered a 1/2 size smaller. They fit great.

These shoes are very lightweight and flexible but have some arch support and padding. They are my go-tos for walking, jogging, bicycling, yard and garden, and are the first things I'll be packing for an upcoming sightseeing vacation. My feet do not get tired and sore in them. Of the various minimal shoes I've tried over the years, these are by far the best for me. I am wondering whether they are washable?

Just got these shoes a few weeks ago and they fit like a glove. I love that they are slip on and they are so comfortable. They have held up nicely so far for runs, hikes, and walking the dog. They do get muddy easily but that's to be expected.

I was looking for a new pair of Merrells and bought these because of their functionality for trail running as well as everyday use. As soon as I put them on my feet, I knew this was a good decision. I feel like they conform to the shape of my foot almost perfectly. Very comfortable and supportive. I like the look of them as well - the top of the shoe kind of looks like a sock which is interesting but is comfortable. They are great. The only thing that's worth pointing out is that you might want to order a size or half a size down from your regular size - I wear an 8 usually but in Merrell shoes I'm a 7. Thats all.

These shoes were very cute with very strong arch support but the way that they fit, I knew I would not feel comfortable with them if I were wearing socks. Since I was looking for a casual shoe for walking, I knew that would not work for me. But if I just wanted something comfortable and cute, I would have kept them. They were a bit stiff in the heel to get on since they don’t have normal laced closure, but I am guessing that would have eased with use. The arch support was very high in this shoe. I was sorry to have to return them. I would still give them a good rating.

I am coming from using Vivo Barefoot shoes for running and decided to give these a try, fully expecting to send these back if the toe box was not wide enough... it was and I love the fit of these shoes. I especially appreciate the way it forces me off my heel.

Loved the ombre ocean colors so much that I bought these even though I pretty much only purchase wide width shoes. They fit great! Very roomy toe box and firm arch support. Don't like the laces very much -the shoes fit fine without the lace adjustment and one of the laces detached from the black plastic end piece (not shown on the photo). The minimal sole design takes getting used to but these feel like they have as much (or more) support than my usual Asics Gel Kayanos. Love them!

I bought these for work where I'm on my feet all day and they are the most comfortable ever. I love not having to worry about my shoes coming untied. I get non stop compliments too.

Good product. Very comfortable with great arch support. I am not a fan of the lace up system-it works I just find it a little awkward. That said they never come undone!

I am on my feet a lot at work, so I wanted a zero-drop shoe with good arch support and breathable construction. This shoe meets those perfectly. They also look sharp, which does not hurt. My only complaint is that I ordered the same size 8.5 from Merrell that has served me well for well over ten years, but these feel far too big, with more room in the toe area than I like. Maybe it's because of the knit, but even when I lace them as tightly as I can (which kind of hurts my fingers because of the skinny laces), they still feel big. If I wore these without socks, they would never work. If I had it to do again, I would have gone down half a size. Otherwise, they are light, and amazingly comfortable, even at the end of eight hours on my feet.

These shoes were extremely comfortable in both the soles and the knit fabric. The front steps of the shoe was wider compared to other Merrell shoes I've worn. I was not fond of the lacing system (lace lock closure system). I had to tug each layer all to the way up simular to ice skates. It never felt quite right as some spots felt tighter then others. I ended up returning due to the laces and the front being slightly too wide for me.

I love that these are fabric (flexible rather than stiff), which I love, however the soles are hard. I feel the jarring in my back each time I step down... I don’t run in these, just walk 3-4 miles a day. My worn out New Balance running shoes provide so much more support. Also, in these shoes, my weight seems to be mostly in my heels instead of distributed more evenly through out my sole. If you are old enough to remember Earth Shoes, that’s what these shoes feel like to me. That would probably be okay if there was better heel cushion. This may be why my knees are achy after I walk far in these. Otherwise the fit is really good (a bit too roomy in the toe box for me, but I can live with that).

I like these shoes; I've used them as casual walking shoes and also for running. After about 6 weeks of fairly light use, the clip that holds the tension in the lace system broke. I put it back together but to no avail. My complaint is with Merrell. If you're going to use this lace system then don't cut any corners on cheap products. When I pay this much for a shoe it better last longer w/out me having to figure out repairs.

I love the look and padded insole of these shoes. I did have a problem with the toe box being too wide for me though. I have slightly narrow feet, and my feet were swimming at the toe end of the shoe. I did try them on a walk on a paved trail for a few miles though first. They fit great in length, but the loose toe box just didn't fit snugly enough, and I ended up with a few small blisters. If they offered these in a narrow option, I'd be sold! But alas, they don't, and I'll probably be returning my pair to try something else.

I have 2 pairs of the Bare Access Arc because I love them so much and was hoping these would be similar, but they are not. Some things you may not realize: -There is a lot of arch support in this shoe. If this is something that you are looking for, that could be a good thing, but that's not what I want and not what I'm used to from Merrell running shoes. -The fabric around the back of the foot is lower than I would like and I couldn't get the shoe to fit snugly enough in the heel no matter how tightly I tied the laces. (This could be a sizing issue.) -The material around the toes on the outside is a hard material. Maybe that's something you want but that wasn't obvious to me when purchasing. -Not Vibram soles. Sizing wise: I have worn an 8.5 in all of my Merrell running shoes. I have had Bare Access Arc, Vapor Glove, and Trail Glove, at least. These in 8.5 did not fit quite right. Either the laces were too tight across the top of my foot or my heel slipped around too much. When I tightened the laces enough for my foot to fit snugly, there was a weird bubbling of the fabric near the bottom of the laces. I would try the 8, but it is not available in the color I purchased. The laces seem to hold better than I expected, so that part was at least nice!

I'm unfortunately disappointed with these shoes, they're over-sized by at least a half. This requires you to pull the knit cord tight, and for me after less then a months use, they cord snapped on both shoes (I replaced with regular laces). This pair were my fourth pair of merrels, I had been very satisfied with my previous shoes. I also have to add that they are the least barefoot feeling to me so far. Not sure I'll buy Merrels again.
