I recently confirmed with Sperry that they no longer make leather footbed insoles for any women’s shoes (apparently their development team thinks men need nicer shoes than women). The footbed is now a really low quality memory foam and the feel of the fabric on my feet is unbearable. I bought leather insoles to stick on top of the footbed but it isn’t worth it. I returned mine. Guess it’s time to find a new go-to shoe

Sperry's - what happened?! I had the prior version of this shoe and LOVED it. It was really well made and comfortable to walk upwards of 5+ miles in. The inside was leather and soft. And the only reason I even went to buy a new pair was because my feet grew while I was pregnant with my son. This 'new' model is cheap. I can literally hear the person at corporate saying, "I think we could take some cost out of this model." And they did - at the sacrifice of quality. The soles are now a cheap nylon-like material (versus the old leather soles). It now feels like you are walking on a bed of nails - no sharp but a dull, unpleasant feeling. Please bring back the old construction - even if you have to increase the price. It was worth it.

This is my second pair of Sperry Angelfish. I have a somewhat wide foot, so I ordered them in wide and the fit was prefect. They are my go-to summer weekend shoe, easy to slip on, and they look cute with a variety of outfits. My only complaint is that this new version of Angelfish came with a fabric insole which retains dirt and odors. Within a month of use they had acquired an unpleasant odor. My old version, which I’ve had for about 5 years, came with a soft leather insole and has never smelled bad. What a bummer.

This is my second pair of Sperry Angelfish and I love them. They’re very comfortable and I was able to break them in within a few weeks. The styling is more feminine than that of other Sperry top siders, which I love. My only complaint is that unlike my last pair, which I bought 3-4 years ago, the insole on these is fabric, not leather, and got stinky pretty quickly. ?? My old ones never smelled bad.

nice shoe. would recommend. for my foot, the toe end area was slightly tight, maybe too short, but only slightly. the distance around the tie area was fine, which is where I might normally need the extra width. could have kept as I know they would have conformed to my foot over time but chose the Oasis style this time. both in an 8.5W, my usual size. these do seem to have better arch support.

Exactly what I wanted. They are more of a tan than a blush though.

I really, really loved the style and looks of these shoes and I wanted to keep them. However, the stitching on the top and sides was so uncomfortable the pain was unbearable. I do love the shoes.

Perfect

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair for 9+ years and will keep them around for tasks that are dirty and I don’t care if they get messy. They get better overtime, as they are broken in. I love the simplicity and quality.

I love these so much that I keep a 2nd pair for "dress up"! And when a pair wears out, they become "work shoes" for gardening, etc. My only complaint is that, even tho I buy "wide", once the shoes break in good, the material on my right outside comes apart at the lower part of the shoe...

Love these!!! They’re super cute and comfortable. I will say that they’re slightly on the big side, but not enough so that I would size down.

Cute shoes and nice materials! The toe box area was not I guess I will say not tall enough-it feels like the top of shoe is pressing down on my big toes. Not sure if wide is available or will help this issue.

They are attractive and well made, but just a big wide in both the toe box and more noticeably at the heel. I am adjusting the way I walk to avoid them slipping off which means they aren't an all day kind of shoe. They are also more tan than the pinkish they appear as pictured. They fit better with socks, but don't look nice with socks so unfortunately I don't wear them very much at all, which is sad because they were meant to be an every day running errands or stepping out to walk the dog shoe.

The fit was not good. The threads in the seams along the top and sides hurt my feet so much, the pain was unbearable. I love, love, love the style and looks, and I am so disappointedI couldn't keep them.

A nice looking, comfortable shoe, but too wide for me in a wide and too narrow in medium because of a bunion. Sorry I can't keep them

I love how cute these shoes appear online, but they were disappointing when I received them. What looks like a nude color in the image, is really more of a tan. That cute little bow tie is impossible to keep tied, which is so frustrating. Plus, the wide is too wide and the regular is too narrow. I will not buy another pair of Sperrys, unfortunately.

no longer the leather inside but a scratchy fabric. Bring back the old model. The comfort is gone.

I wore my last pair of Sperrys for YEARS. These, however, have multiple holes in the soles after 18 months. The tops look perfect. The shoes feel great. The soles look like Swiss cheese.

Please Zappos, change your photos. Your photos show the original version of this shoe, before a bunch of MBAs ruined it. I thought I had finally found an original version and was soooo disappointed when I opened the box. Sperry topsiders no longer have a leather (pigskin) insole; instead, the insole is a super rough weird fabric that catches on every rough bit of your foot. The sides of the shoe are no longer a soft, pleasant flannel; instead, they are cheap, uncomfortable polyester. Finishing the insult, the toe box is much tighter than the original shoe, though even if it fit, the lining and insole of the new version would be too uncomfortable on bare feet. Finally, the whole shoe just feels cheap, which is a shame, given this shoe's history.

I have two pair of the Angelfish top siders and LOVED THEM. However, they are too small now. I have 7 1/2 so I ordered an 8. They are TOO BIG. Unbelievable. What has happened. They fit like they are a full size bigger instead of a half size. I cannot wear them now. Please bring back the old sizing methd so I can buy these shoes. Patti
