These are great shorts for training or racing. They are light & breathable, without the excessive pockets that seem to be the norm now for ultra shorts. I use these exclusively for training now, preferred over Salomon Agile + jock, and they work well. The inner liner could be a bit more compressive but no real complaints.

Love these shorts. Only running shorts that I find comfortable.

This is the only pair of shorts I will buy. I've purchased 3 pairs in the last year for my running rotation, because they're so good. The liner is hands down the best on the market. They are breathable, soft, stretchy and completely prevent chafing. I have very muscular thighs for my size (M waist) and these are the only running shorts that accommodate them. I've torn the liners of most other brands N*k*, Ad****, etc within the first use, because they must design their shorts for little twig people. I've had one pair of these for 5 years and they're still solid although there is a small tear in the pocket (from holding my iPhone 5). Absolutely love these shorts. I attribute most of that to the size and stretchiness of these shorts. They must know that the boxer style liner isn't for vanity, but for chafing prevention! LOVE THESE SHORTS

The most comfortable shorts I've ever worn running. Breathable, no chafing, no harsh seams that dig into you, and nothing rides/bunches up when you're running.
