The shoes I received fit correctly....however I had ordered a half size larger than normal...a 9.5 instead of 9. Additionally, the shoes felt a bit more narrow than a medium. If I were to order them again I would have to have a wide instead of a medium. Having said that I can wear a thinner sock to compensate for the width.

I purchased these boots for my husband who is in law enforcement. He usually wears a size 15 but has found 14 to be best with Under Armour boots. This pair proved to be the same, with a 14 fitting perfectly, even when he removed the insoles to put in his orthotics. Additionally, these boots are UNBELIEVABLY LIGHT! I was shocked when the box arrived - it didn't feel like there could actually be boots inside. He says they're great wearing b/c of this - a big improvement from wearing heavier boots for the duration of his shift. Finally, in my opinion, these boots are great looking. Much more stylish than other uniform shoes I've seen other officers wearing. All in all, great purchase. Would buy again if they hold up well.

The weight of the shoe is great, very light. The tongue and lace up are not very good. The tongue is attached until the break of the ankle which means the tongue can't slide down into the shoe. That makes for a bulky fit on the top of the foot and apulls the top of the shoe disproportionately tight at the top. The ankle padding is great but the upper comfort in general are terrible. Lacing up is also difficult because of the tongue situation.

If you order these you will need a thick sock and it is still not very comfortable. The tongue design does not allow it to fold in and close under the laces properly. It has some thick padding above the ankle but surrounding those pads it is uncomfortable against your leg. When the laces are tightened it disproportionally tightens at the top but does keep the bottom together. Poor design
