Very happy with these hiking boots. Asolo is an awesome brand to begin with, but I was very impressed with the comfortable fit of this particular pair of boots. They are similar in fit to my Montrail Torre GTX hikers, which uses integrafit technology, where they measured the feet of thousands of people and took into consideration the biomechanics of the foot’s movement during hiking. I wanted something that can stand up to rough terrain, and I think these Asolos will do the trick. The color is great too. I’ll still do a waterproofing of the leather, since it’s only water resistant, but really can’t go wrong with the quality of these hikers.

Hi! These boots look awesome! They are not pink. It's more of a cranberry or a maroon. Not too feminine...if you're worried they might be too girly. They are very high quality. I am normally a 9. I wear 39 Birkenstock (narrow) Arizonas. I tried a 9 in the Greenwood and I was swimming in them...too long. So, I went with the 8.5. I am still considering whether or not I'm going to keep them for one reason. The toe box seems restrictive. I can feel my pinky toe making contact with the interior of the boot. They are stiff boot and if I keep them the "break in" period will be long. I have one other complaint. The sewing on the top of the tongue of the boot is rough...exposed and not finished to match the quality of the rest of the boot. Surely it will be the boot's achilles heal, but not a deal breaker. My first pair of Asolo lasted 20 years. They're a good hiking boot. I also use them for snow shoeing and some winter-weather-wear here in "we get serious snow" Buffalo. Be safe- wear a mask- wash your hands.

These are the most comfortable, functional hiking boots I have ever owned. Right out of the box, they are like walking on clouds. They are really well designed so they are easy to put on and off (no tugging and fighting with them), stay laced tight, and do well on flat roads or uneven terrain.

The Asolo fit perfectly in half size smaller than I normally wear. This shoes seems well designed for narrow dainty ankles. I ordered three different boots following reviews for the Salomon 4 D and a beautiful Scarpa In blk with multi color highlights around the seams. Both were not as supportive as the Asolo. This boot is what I consider a true hiking boot with modern flexibility. The Scarpa is a great choice for light woodland strolls but might need an insert to remain comfortable on longer hikes.

These are fantastic. I have to return them only because they are too much of a boot for me, I need something a bit more flexible.
